"We could be happy together." Camila says softly, laying her head on my shoulder.

I sigh softly, forcing myself not to cry in front of Camila again. We watch the cars drive by in the dark, their lights momentarily brightening the road as they drive by. I feel Camila's body shake slightly and she stands up.

"We have to go." Camila exhales, grabbing my hand to help me up. "Austin told me he already has a hotel room booked for us in the 'V for Vegas' hotel. We just need to say what he told me to say and we're in."

"Wait," I say suddenly, causing Camila to turn around and look at me. "Remember when we were in the diner and Charlie was talking about your death?"

"Yeah." Camila replies, I stand to my feet, tugging Camila's jacket tighter around my body.

"I saw the tear fall down your cheek." I confess. Camila's eye grow wide and she sighs loudly, walking closer to me. She grabs the loose ends of my jacket, pulling me towards her. "Why?"

"Charlie said that you were a mess after I left." Camila's eyes lock with mine, making my heart jump randomly. "I hate knowing that I brought you pain. You mean so much to me, Lo, I just can't believe that I made you feel that way." Another tear slides down her perfect cheek.

"Hey," I shake my head, smiling as I do so. "Don't cry, baby." I wipe the tear from her face, causing her to smile gently.

Camila moves her hands from my jacket to around my neck, pressing our foreheads together. "I like when you call me baby," Camila sighs, closing her eyes. "It reminds me of us when we were younger."

"If we are together forever," I say, making Camila open her sad eyes. "We will be young forever. And right now," I take Camila's hands from behind my neck and move them to her sides. "We are together. So right now, we are young."

"Lo, I don't think yo—" Camila shakes her head, chuckling slightly as she does so.

"What does youth mean to you, Camila?" I ask, wanting her to understand where I'm coming from.

"Happiness." Camila replies immediately. "Being carefree. Feeling like the wold doesn't rest upon my shoulders."

"And how do you feel around me?" I question, my hands still in Camila's.

"Happy, carefree," Camila smiles widely, causing the same smile to break out on my lips. "And like the world doesn't rest upon my shoulders."

"You see," I grin, pulling Camila over to our car. "We are young. Now let's head to Vegas."

"Sounds like a plan." Camila mumbles, yawning. I let go of her hands and her body leans against mine anyway. I smile slightly, picking Camila up in my arms like a child. She wraps her fingers around my jacket's collar, smiling against my chest.

"Are you sleepy?" I whisper, and Camila nods slowly. "Okay, I'll drive."

"No.." Camila protest, shaking her head.

"It's okay, baby," I use the nickname 'baby' purposely, knowing Camila will most likely listen to me if she is called 'baby'. I open the passenger door, setting her down gently in it. She curls up into a ball on the side of the seat, her eyes closed.

I close the door silently. I walk to the driver side and I open the door, sitting down and turning on the car. The car switches on, and the radio blares random facts no one cares about. I turn down the radio, letting silence fall over us again. I glance over to Camila to see her sleeping, her body propped up and seatbelt on— but sleeping nonetheless. I smile to myself, turning out of the driveway.

I pull into the parking lot for 'V for Vegas'. I look quickly at Camila, who is still sleeping peacefully. I park in a parking spot, getting ready to get out when a thought hits me. I don't know the words I'm supposed to say to get in. I don't want to wake Camila up and have her be all grumpy. So I slide her phone out of the jacket I'm wearing, remembering this is her jacket.
