☆ Time stopped Forever ☆

Start from the beginning

Call ended.

Dialling.

-

"Oh, you're up."

Seven looked up from behind the silver bars of his cell, only to see a familiar brunette.

"Vanderwood..."

He growled.

"I told you."

The brunette shrugged.

"But you didn't listen, did you?"

Vanderwood sighed, in mock pity.

Seven started to tear up.

He didn't like crying.

But the tears came anyway.

And there they were, streaming down his face like the remains of his broken heart.

"Why would you do this?"

He cried.

"I'm not even trying to hurt anybody!"

Seven argued, his grip tightening on the cell's bars.

Vanderwood raised an eyebrow, before slipping something out of his pocket.

It was Seven's phone.

He threw it to the redhead, who caught it eagerly in his hands.

The brunette clicked his tongue.

"Whatever. Give him a call. It'll be your last, anyway."

He sighed.

Seven's eyes widened with worry, but his trembling fingers still desperately dialled Jumin's number.

His lover's number.

"Seven!"

The line was picked up almost immediately, as if the person at the other end had been waiting for far too long for the call.

Seven's heart broke when he heard Jumin's worried voice.

"Jumin."

He whispered.

-

"I was so worried! Where on earth have you been?"

Jumin asked, now standing in the middle of his room.

Seven took a while to answer.

But when he did, Jumin's heart froze.

"I'm at the agency."

He muttered.

Jumin knew what that meant.

He knew the redhead wouldn't go there volunteerily to ask to leave the agency politely and end up with a voice that sounded like he was crying.

They kidnapped him.

The raven-haired boy's eyes widened, and he got up immediately.

"Where is the agency located at?!"

He demanded, walking over to open his room door.

"I can't tell you."

Seven replied, but shortly after, Jumin received a message with the coordinates of the agency's location.

He knew the redhead was being watched, or at least, listened to.

"Jumin, I need to tell you something."

Seven coughed, after a while.

The raven-haired boy answered quickly.

"What is it?"

He asked, his free hand fumbling with the keys to his apartment as he unlocked the door in front of him.

He heard the redhead's voice soften.

"I've always wanted to marry in a space station."

-

I stood in front of my door, a little confused.

"I never got to tell you, Jumin. The only dream I've really had was to get married in a space station one day, where the galaxy would be our only witness."

He was whispering dreamily, and I felt my blood run cold.

They're... they're planning to kill him...

... Aren't they?

That's why he's talking like he'll never get to say these things again.

I felt my grip tighten on the doorknob as I pushed the door open.

I needed to call for backup, and fast.

"Hey, Jumin. It's a good idea, right? To marry in a space station."

He whispered, and I could tell that he was crying by the quiet sniffles I heard at the other end of the line.

By now I was running across the pavements, even though it was raining.

It was raining.

And he was crying.

And so was I.

"It's an amazing idea, Seven."

I choked out, the phone never closer to my ear.

And suddenly there was silence at the other end of the line.

"Please call me Saeyoung."

He said.

And I stopped running.

I was drenched from head to toe, but I didn't care.

I took a deep breath to calm myself down, but all it did was bring tears to my eyes.

Why?

He's telling me this Now?

I bit my bottom lip.

This world is so...

... Cruel.

I forced a laugh.

"Of course...

... Saeyoung."

I coughed out.

"And when all this is over, I'll go with you.

I'll let you take me To the Stars with You."

I promised, moving my face away from the phone slightly.

I didn't want him to hear how bitterly I was crying.

Even I couldn't tell what was rain or tears anymore.

I needed to hurry.

So I picked myself up and ran.

And then he said it.

Almost inaudible, but I heard it clearly.

"I love you."

He whispered.

I clutched my chest, and for sure, what was streaming down my face now were tears.

"I love you, too, Saeyoung."

I whispered back, my vision blurring.

Why?

WHY?

If he is going to die,

Then my time from this day will be stopped Forever.

Forever.
