Dreams are shattered.

Aliya's POV

We are having dinner at our home. I  lost the appetite after hearing that Hussain was almost proposed and it didn't work out, Because of some past. Which is hunting me. I am fighting with myself to message Maha and ask or not ! If I message and ask sometimes she will tell something which I am not ready to hear.

What if Hussain have ex girlfriend?  Or worse girlfriend?  No can't be because he has told yes to me, what if he was forced?  That he is still in love with someone else?  What if..

"Aliya betta ! " Mom called

"Ha ! Yes mom " I said coming out of my thoughts.

"What happened to you ? From the time we came back from Banaras you look lost somewhere! " Mom said.

" Did Kulsum or Keeran said something?  " Dad ask this time.

"Dad! Actually I am so tired I will go to my room" I said and got up from the chair to go upstairs. 

" Finish your dinner and go, I made Parata specialy for you" Mom said.

"Mom I am not hungry and feeling nausea so please I can't have any more " I said and went to upstairs.

I went to my room and prayed Isha and got changed into Pijama and went to bed with my Notebook .  While Praying I felt it's better to ask Maha without having any doubts. It will give peace to my mind. So I checked the whatsapp and there are few messages from my school friends,  congratulating me for the engagement. Some of them are over planning to attend my wedding,  what are they going to wear and asking the wedding theme colour.  After replying to them saying "Have patience now only I am engaged why in a hurry to send me off"

I checked Maha's whatsapp and it showed online.  So i started the conversation.

"Asalamu Alaikum " me

" Walaikum Salam " Maha

"How are you ? And is this Maha or..? " me.

" or.. ,?  who ? *wink* " Maha

" your Bhai?  " me.

"What if I am.. "Maha

" I will call you it's safe that way " Me

" haha, chill Bhabhi it's me Maha,I love to call and speak to you. But sorry I am with Grandma and she is fast sleep so if I call she will be distributed."Maha

"It's okay,  just wanted to ask how are you and all" me

" You mean how is bhai?  * wink* "Maha

" hmm is he the only one living in your home ? " me

"Why? You want to know about my whole family members wellbeing?" Maha.

" Can't I ask? They aslo my second family " me.

"But Bhabhi why are you always going around the bush " Maha

"Okay, so how is your Bhai?  " Me

"Hmmm, He is in the airport" Maha

"Ah where is he going?  May his journey be safe, Aameen !" Me

"HAHAH he is actually in his room and getting ready to sleep " Maha

"But you said in the airport?  " me

"Yes, To go to the dream land *wink* " Maha

" Lol, I wondered that how come I didn't know he is travelling " me

"Oh ho someone got hurt that Bhai is hiding something " Maha

" yes, I mean I wanted to ask something regarding your Bhai ..." me

"Bhabhi, you know na I am like your sister so don't worry ask me anything "Maha

"Did your Bhai agreed to this proposal on his own or is he was forced? Me

"Hmm Bhabhi,  why are you suddenly asking this ? " Maha

"Maha please tell me the truth " me

"Actually Dad asked and it's almost like forced him to say yes, because Bhai was planning to go to Australia and study BA " Maha

"Oh I didn't know that ! " me

"But Bhabhi... " Maha

"Sorry Maha I am sleepy I will chat with you tomorrow " me

I felt my dreams are shattering because from the time I got proposed to Hussain, I felt dream came true my wishlist was completed.  Even though there are only one thing I expected from my life partner that's Pious, but now I felt I just woken up from my dream. Because Hussain was forced to say yes, he doesn't want to Marry. Even though his past is still there bugging me. I felt tears and I wrote in my Notebook with few tear drop marks.  Then I closed it and cried letting out the whole hurt and fear.
