"Are you serious?" I asked.

"Yep, I'm very serious." Lucille responded. "They called last night."

"This is great." Dwayne said with excitement.

"Now I can forget about the ghost and feeling homesick!" J.D. yelled.

I had a lot of positive emotions inside me. We only saw our baby sister for only one day and it felt like we'll never see her again. Looks like we will again, and watch her grow and learn new stuff.

I think Mom didn't think of a name for her yet, but I think I had a great idea for one.

"How about we make a delicious strawberry cake to celebrate." Lucille said while getting up. "J.D. would you like to help me pick the strawberries form my strawberry bush?"

"Yes!" J.D. jumped up from his seat and ran straight to the back door.

Lucille handed me and Dwayne a large brown book. "My great grandmother made this recipe book and it was passed down to my grandmother, my mom, and it was passed to me." Lucille opened a page that had the recipe for the strawberry cake. "Make sure you follow the directions carefully."

Dwayne and I both nodded our heads then we went to the kitchen.

A moment later, J.D. ran back in to grab a basket. He looked back at us and whispered, "I can't wait to go back home and see our family again."

I couldn't help but smile at that little boy. Sometimes his words can hit your heart like it's an actual person.

But hey, I feel the same way about seeing family as he does.
