*Lisa's POV*

Beep, beep!

Beep, beep!

Beep, beep!

I woke up to my alarm clock going off. Great another day of school, I thought while turning off the alarm. At Junction Highschool things have been getting worse for me. Although these things have been going on since I was little, I didn't like being bullied.

Gitting up I and went to my dresser to get my clothes for the day. After gathering my things I went to my bathroom to take a quick shower and get dressed. I put on my maroon long sleeve shirt and blue jeans. Then brushes out my long, red hair and put it up in a ponytail.

Leaving the bathroom I grabbed my backpack by my door and headed down stairs. I walked into the kitchen to grab a granola bar then leave the pack house. On my walk to school I ate the granola and looked out for my only friend. Luckily, my friend, Samantha(Sam) Morgan, was coming out of her house when I got there.

"Hey girl, what you up to?" Sam asked.

"What does it look like?" I said.

"Ha! I know you too well. I know your ready for the day to end already," she said.

"Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner!" I said.

On the rest of the way to school Sam and I talked about what we could do tomorrow, witch is Saturday. The school was nearly full when the we reached it. Trying to avoid being seen I walked to the back of the school to get to class without being hurt.

After I was in the school building I thought I was in the clear, until I heard footsteps behind me. Turning around swiftly I saw Katelyn Rogers, the beta's daughter, coming toward me. I turned back around and tried to run, but I was too late Katelyn had me pinned against a wall, no way out.

"Hey, little freak. Up for a round of tag?" Katelyn asked.

I struggled to get free. Then I heard at least two more sets of footsteps walk up behind Katelyn. Oh great now a group is going to be attacking me.

"Yeah freak, why don't we play. We'll be it," Hillary Renalds said behind Katelyn.

Katelyn dropped me and said, "Okay, we'll give you a five second head start."

Catching my breathe I got up off the floor and ran even though I knew it was useless. When they got done counting I was by a biology room at the end of the hall. They all ran after me laughing. Turning I headed toward the stair case in the next hall.

When I got to the door of the stair case, I sensed someone behind me, then Nicole Freeman grabbed my neck and threw me toward the others in the group. That's when they ganged up on me and when they left I had a broke nose, black eye, and several other bruises. Gathering myself up I went to my locker to get my books then headed toward the bathroom to get a look at the damage.

I could sense I was alone in the bathroom, so I went ahead and looked at the damage. After seeing some bruises and straightening my nose back up I concluded that the damage done would be gone by the end of the day thanks to my wolf. Already the bruises were starting to fading and my nose wasn't bleeding anymore. I cleaned up and went to class.

*Lunch time*

Sitting at my usual table I waited for Sam to show up. I had been thinking about running away for a while, but what happened this morning pushed me to confirm the plan and decide to leave.

"Lisa what's going on? You aren't talking." Sam said.

I hadn't even seen, sense, hear, or smell her sit down beside me, apparently it was too lost in thought.

I said,"I won't be here tomorrow. I'm leaving. I have to get away from this place. I'm tired of being bullied."

"Hey, I don't blame you," Sam said in a calming voice and she leaned over and gave me a gentle hug.

The bell rang a few minutes after I got done telling Sam what I was going to do.

*Walking home*

I walked with Sam on our way home. And talked on the way.

"Do you think you can come and visit me sometime?" Sam asked sending a hopeful look my way.

"I'll do my best to, but I'm not promising anything," I replied.

"I hope you find a nice place to live or stay."

"So do I."

"I'm going to miss you," Sam said sadly giving me a hug before going to her house.

"I'll miss you, too," I whispers as I continues my walk to the pack house.
