SUMMER:

I haven't spoken to Harry since Emma went to our house last Sunday. Alice's done recording her songs, now it's just her album photoshoot. Finally, it's the last day then they're going to release Alice album this September.

We're in the studio near Brown Records, the background's so NYC and vibrant and stuff. Well, her album is called "Here Comes the Sun" so that makes sense.

My phone rang and I took a peek at it. It was Harry calling. I sighed and shoved my phone back into my pocket. It's best to avoid him for now.

I don't know what to do yet. I don't want to avoid him, but I have to so I won't make anything worse. I feel bad, but I don't wanna make it worse so space would make it better.

"You alright?", Alice approached me as she finished the 1st part of her shoot. I nodded. "Are you thinking about him?", she asked. I shrugged. She sighed. "Don't worry," she said. "He's not even worth it."

I don't know if I should be mad at Harry, but I'm not. I'm not supposed to be. We're just friends. I have no right to get mad at him if he were to like Emma. I'm nothing else. Yeah, that's reality.

I need to get over this. It's just crushing anyway. Who knows tomorrow, Harry will be nothing but a friend in my perspective.

HARRY:

I've been calling her for days, just to see if she wanted to hang out just like we used to but she never answers. I ask Hallie or Clayton where she is, but they always say she has plans.

Hallie, though, seems annoyed when I bring up Summer. She would tell me to not talk about Summer's plans because she doesn't have time for whatever ridiculous things.

It's getting sad not having Summer around. Plus, Emma's getting on my nerves. She keeps nagging me to do this and that. I'm so frustrated that I just want her to leave.

But she's not leaving. She has damn photoshoots in LA and she needs a place to stay and since we're FUBUs, we need to help each other.

"Hey! This is Summer. Sorry I can't take your call, but feel free to leave a message after the beep. *beep*," I took a deep breathe and sighed. "Hey," I spoke. "We haven't talked in days. I hope you're alright. We're alright, right? Okay. See you soon." I hung up.

"Who was that?", Emma jumped on my lap. I groaned. "Summer," I said. "Hallie Browning's little sister?", she asked. "Isn't she too much of a prude for you?" I felt my anger boil. "Emma, get off me!", I told her sternly.

She got off my lap. "Awwee," she laughed. "Someone's not in the mood. I'll fix that." She began kissing my neck. "Emma, STOP!", I moved away from her. "Summer's not a prude, okay? She's a decent girl and she'll be more respected than you'll ever be!"

I know I went overboard with that because Emma started crying then left. Well, as jerky as this sounds, she started it. She called Summer a prude. Well, she's nothing like Taylor Swift that's for sure. Summer is decent and mature enough to know good.

"Everything alright, mate?", Louis asked as he and Eleanor entered the room. "Yeah," Eleanor said. "I just saw the diva come leave." I sighed. "She called Summer a prude," I told them. "So I snapped."

Eleanor laughed. "Wow," she said. "Harry Styles is standing up for the Hollywood Heiress?" I shrugged. "Yeah," I sighed. "But she's been keeping her distance from me. I don't know why."

Louis and Eleanor were silent. "Does it hurt?", Louis asked. "What?", I asked back. "Summer keeping her distance from you," he answered. "Does it hurt?" Without hesitation, I nodded.

"You like her," Louis whispered. I turned to look at him. "I've never seen you act like this toward a girl, Haz," he said. "Not even, Emma. Summer's changing you, and you don't even notice."

"What?", I asked. "You like her," Eleanor repeated. "You miss her, don't you? You have feelings for her!" She squealed. "You have confront her," Eleanor added. "That's the best way to settle things."

"Tell her how you feel," Louis said. I sighed. "What?", he asked. "I'm not good with relationships," I admitted. "I want casual stuff, not relationships. But with Summer, I..." Louis smirked.

"I know, Haz," he said. "But, in a way, she's making you a better person. You haven't hooked up with anyone the whole time! You're doing all this 'cause she's got you going!"

"This is amazing," Eleanor smiled. "I approve, Haz. Summer is such a great person." I agreed. "Yeah," I nodded. "But Lou," I turned to him. "Didn't you disapprove of me and relationships before because you think I'll end up hurting the other person?"

Louis shook his head. "You've grown on it, Haz." he said. "Summer's making you better now. So if you want to keep her, the best thing to do first is to admit that you like her."

"So, Harry," Eleanor beamed, all excited. Seriously? "Do you like Summer Beverley Browning?"

I thought for a moment. Summer. Beautiful Summer. The girl who can play the violin and the piano. The girl who rejected me for the first few times I asked her to hang-out. The girl who loves her horse named Sweet Pea.

The girl who doesn't want to be in showbiz. The girl who looks up to her grandma so much. The girl who aspires to be a writer. The girl who loves the Breakfast Club.

The girl who's kind, smart and amazing. The girl whom I unknowingly and slowly fell for.

Hesistantly, I spoke, "I-I do like her. I like Summer Browning."

// I hope 3 chapters made up for my absence. I'm really sorry guys! Plus, I'm writing a mini sequel for Her Song (Liam Payne). Stay tuned! -Gale :) xo
