"Are you just going to ignore me or are you gonna answer?"
Justin asks and I lift my gaze to see that there's only a few inches of space between us.

"Aren't you the one who said no one would want to know me?"
I ask seeing him flinch as I get up to throw my tray away.
"You did WHAT?!"
Jo growls angrily as she leans over to slap Justin, but Nathan pulls her back causing her to land in his lap.
"You jerk!"
Jo growls struggling to get up but Nathan restrains her from attacking his friend.
"Calm down, Jean."
I laugh out loud at the expression on her face when she glances down to see her situation.
Jo yelps jumping away in surprise, but it fails terribly when both Nathan and Jo fall to the floor.
Ouch! That had to have hurt!
"Jo? Are you okay!"
I ask as I rush over to help them up.
However, I freeze and laugh out loud when my gaze lands on Nathan and Jo's red faces.
"You made a big mistake, Justin."
Tyson informs Justin, but it seems as though they're talking about something else.
  I sit back down on the edge of my seat to get as far from Justin as possible when I feel arms wrap around me from behind.
"Boo!"
A familiar voice exclaims and I smile spinning around to see James with his hair sticking up everywhere as always.
"What are you doing here?"
I ask as I comb his hair with my fingers.
"We get to go to lunch early today!"
He says happily as he plops down on my lap while placing his tray in front of him.
"Hey Jo!"
James says with a smile and she smiles back.
"Hey, James-"
Suddenly Justin starts coughing setting down his drink as he covers his mouth.
"You okay?"
Tyson asks and Justin nods looking guilty as he glances at me.
"Are these your friends?"
  James asks and I point as I name them off.
"Jo, Jaecee, Nathan and Tyson."
I state causing James to frown as he glances as Justin.
"So, then who are you?"
James asks Justin who smiles down at him before holding out his hand.
"My name is Justin Moore, and you are?"
"I'm Raya's brother, James Silver."
"I wasn't aware she had a brother."
Justin states as he lifts his eyes up to meet my gaze.
"You didn't want to know me, remember?"
I mutter under my breath to where only Justin can hear me.
"Wait! You're that boy at the park!"
James exclaims with wide eyes as Justin looks down at him in confusion.
"I didn't see you there."
He says glancing at me and I roll my eyes.
"That's probably because you had smoothie on your face."
"Yeah, that was awesome!"
James laughs in amusement.
"Yeah, don't ever do that at school. I don't need you getting into any trouble."
I warn and he nods in understanding.
"Oh, guess what!"
James exclaims in excitement causing my eyes to widen in surprise.
"What?"
"We got a new classmate! Her name is Avery."
He smiles causing Jaecee to look up with a small smirk pulling at her lips.
"That's my little sister."
"Really?! Do you know if she likes to watch Disney movies?"
James asks as Jaecee smiles in amusement.
  "Yeah, her favorite Disney movie is The Little Mermaid since she absolutely loves mermaids."
James smiles as he listens to Jaecee talk about Avery.
"Has she watched H20, just add water?"
I ask referring to the tv series where the three girls turn into mermaids when they touch water.
"Oh, she loves that series!"
  Jaecee says with a smile.
"...really?"
  James says with a small frown.
Probably because I've watched that series with him so many times...
I chuckle as Justin raises an eyebrow.
I watch as Jo, Jaecee, Nate and Tyson leave to throw away their trays
"Want some advice?"
  Justin asks leaning towards my little brother and I frown as James nods in agreement.
"No, I don't need you giving him any of your advice."
I growl causing them to frown.
"Fine, what'd your dad teach you about flirting with a girl?"
Justin asks and James frowns.
"Well, I haven't seen him in about a year s-"
I quickly clamp a hand over James's mouth.
Crap!
Justin looks at us with a frown pulling at his lips.
"Why's that?"
Justin asks as his eyes narrow.
"Uh...my sister and I-"
"You're the one that didn't want to know anything about me, so let's keep it that way."
I interrupt causing James to lean forward and whisper under his breath.
"Why are you upset sis? I wasn't actually gonna tell him."
Please, hush James...
"If there's something wrong-"
"Just drop the subject Justin."
  I growl as I get to my feet before making my way towards the cafeteria door with James walking beside me.
After we step outside, I crouch down and meet James's gaze.
"James..."
"Sorry, I didn't mean to say anything, sis. You just said not to tell them that you're-"
"You guys okay?"
A familiar voice asks and I look up to see Nathan and Tyson standing near the door of the cafeteria.
Why did they follow me?
"Yeah, we're fine."
"Then why did you look like you were gonna throw an angry mouse on his face."
Tyson shrugs and I give him a look of confusion.
What?
"Angry mouse?"
"My little brother Jake is scared of Chucky Cheese-"
"Chucky Cheese was terrifying as a kid."
Justin says suddenly appearing as he watches James and I.
Why won't he just leave me alone?
"Well, I'm excited about tonight."
  Jo states as she and Jaecee walk up on either side of me.
"Me too, it'll be fun to get out."
Jaecee says just before Tyson puts his arm around her shoulders causing her to elbow him in the ribs.
"Oof!"
He grunts in pain as Jaecee smirks in triumph.
Yeah, this is gonna be interesting...
