The three of us seemed to bond pretty well during our conversation.
"Oh! I have an idea!"
Jo exclaims before shifting her gaze to look at me.
"We should hang out or maybe go to the movies!"
Jo suggests causing Jaecee and I to nod in agreement.
"Yeah, that definitely sounds fun."
"Sweet! Oh, and we could go get our hair done together!"
Jo says in excitement as she smiles brightly.
Hair?
I frown glancing down at the table as my mind begins to wander.
New place, new start...might as well add new hair into the mix...
"Sure, but I have to bring James with us."
I state causing Jaecee to look at me in confusion.
"James is my little brother."
I explain causing her to nod in understanding.
"Oh..."
"Alright, what's a kids movie in theaters?"
Jo asks glancing at us in hopes of receiving an answer.
"How about we all meet up at the diner after work?"
I ask causing both of them to nod in agreement.
"Sure, but uh...which diner?"
Jaecee asks and Jo smiles as she quickly writes down the address and the directions on a piece of paper.
"Cool, now we'll just have to ask our parents."
Jo says and Jaecee nods in agreement.
Well, I can go.
I glance down and notice a small Captain America bracelet on Jaecee's hand causing me to frown.
Captain America?
Seriously?
"Spiderman is way better then Captain America."
"Huh?"
Jaecee asks looking at me in confusion before following my gaze to her bracelet.
"Oh! No, Captain America is obviously way better."
"How so?"
"Because Captain America is a badass! Not to mention that he's smart and extremely hot."
Jaecee says with bright eyes and a small smirk.
"Spiderman is awesome! He's cool, smart, modest and has super spider abilities."
I argue causing Jaecee to wave her hand dismissively.
"Captain America has an awesome shield and awesome moves when it comes to fighting."
Well, fine then.
"All I think of when I hear Captain America is a guy wearing tights."
I state nonchalantly before my silver eyes widen in realization.
"Oh my gosh! All hero's wear tights! Spiderman, Batman, Robin, Captain America and all the others! That's why all the boys now days are such ballerinas!"
I exclaim causing Jo and Jaecee to laugh.
I don't know why they're laughing.
I just realized the world's mistake.
"I don't know why you guys are arguing when it's obvious that Batman is the best superhero."
Both Jaecee and I roll our eyes at Jo.
"Yeah, he is better then Captain Underpants, but no way is he even close to Spiderman."
I reason causing Jaecee to send a playful glare in my direction.
"It's not Captain Underpants!"
Jaecee yells causing all of us to laugh.
"Batman is awesome because he's rich and nicknamed the dark night, he's also a detective and a badass. His car is awesome and he has single handedly taken down every one of his enemies at least once. Also, I hate spiders."
Jo states causing me to stare at her in surprise before I burst out in laughter.
"I guess we'll all just have to agree to disagree."
I state as I shift my gaze towards the window.
"Well, can you imagine what those three hero's could do together? They'd be awesome!"
Jaecee, Jo and I laugh before nodding in agreement.
A team is stronger then one...
"Hey, wanna go walk around outside and get some fresh air before class starts?"
I ask and they nod.
We make our way towards the exit having already thrown away our trash.
"So,  if we're going to go to the movies I vote Jungle-"
I let out a surprised yelp having ran smack dab into something.
Jeez, did I run into a wall?
I lift my gaze to meet a pair of familiar peircing blue eyes looking down at me in surprise.
Oh no...
My eyes widen in shock as I stare up at him in confusion.
It's the guy that I had dumped the strawberry smoothie on....
What is he doing here?
I glance behind smoothie boy to see that Nathan and Tyson are standing on either side of him.

Nathan is smiling at me, but his smile soon falls when he notices the expression on my face.

Oh, great.
"You?!"
Smoothie Boy and I shout in unison.
"What are you doing here?"
Smoothie Boy says in a rather harsh tone.
Still has an attitude, I see.
"I could ask the same of you jack-"
My words are interrupted as a hand clamps over my mouth.
What the-?
"Hmmph!"
I yell into Jo's hand as she pulls me back and away from the three boys.
  "Don't."
Jo warns as she pulls her hand away from my mouth.
Nathan steps forward as his eyes shift back and forth between smoothie boy and I.
"Hey, Raya, this is my friend Justin. Justin, this is Raya the new girl I was talking about earlier."
Nathan introduces rather nervously.
Justin frowns as he leans back, but he continues to glare down at me.
"She's your new friend?"
Justin asks as he lets his piercing blue eyes look me over and I glare feeling my light gray eyes narrow.
"What's it to you Smoothie Face?"
"Smoothie Face?"
Nathan asks as he raises an eyebrow in confusion. However, it doesn't take long for both Tyson and Nathan's eyes to widen in realization.
The two boys start to laugh as Justin just stands there with a scowl on his face.
"T-this is t-the girl who-haha!"  Nathan laughs, unable to finish his sentence.
"What'd you do?"
Jo whispers under her breath and I shrug.
Nothing he didn't deserve!
"I can't believe it! Man, I wish I could have seen that!"
I turn my attention to Justin to meet his piercing blue eyes.
He doesn't look very happy right now...
"Let's go, Jaecee. Come on, Raya."
Jo says grabbing my arm before dragging me outside and away from the group of boys.
"What on Skittle Island did you do?!"
Jo asks as she looks at me with a rather motherly concern.
Jaecee and I both glance at each other in surprise before looking back at Jo.
"Skittle..island?"
Jaecee asks in confusion just before we all burst out laughing.
