•Chapter 5: He saved me?

I slowly opened my eyes, blinking a few times adjusting my vision, sitting up and then cupping my mouth as I yawned. I saw Drew beside me, staring at me. I noticed that his eyes are twinkling when he saw me that I was already awake. I smiled at him and scratched his ear making him waggle his tail.

"Morning buddy. Hungry?" I asked.

He nodded and barked.

I chuckled "Come on." I stood up, exiting my room, Drew following me behind and then walking to the kitchen to prepare a food for him.

I remember we don't have food left already so I have to buy us some food on the Wall Mart today.

"Drew I forgot we dont have food." I looked down at him and he whimpered "Oh buddy don't worry. I'll go get ready so I can go out and buy something to eat, how's that?"

He nodded and barked.

"Good boy."

Today is my day off so that means I don't have a work today and I don't need to make a rush in the shower. I've been paid a good price this month because my boss said that I've been working really hard and I'm thanking him about that.

After taking a shower and changing into a shirt, a jean short and my old snickers, I decided to leave the house and go straight to the Wall Mart.

While walking at the aisle I can feel someone is following me so I looked around and I saw a man. He is wearing a cap over his head and he was looking at the milks on the track. I shrugged and continued walking to the counter so I can pay all the things I bought.

I still can feel that someone is following me behind while I'm walking at the side street. Through the corner of my eyes, I saw a shadow on my side so I started walking a little faster but the shadow did not disappear. I looked over my shoulder and I saw the man a while ago at the grocery. My eyes widened as I looked away and I kept on walking. Gosh what's wrong with him? Why does he kept on following me? This is so creepy.

My heart is already beating so fast and I'm getting nervous. Why can't this man stop following me? When I'm already near the alley, someone grabbed my shoulders causing me to let go of the bags I was holding, pushing me and hit my back on the wall. I shrieked and he pulled something sharp, pointing the blade on my neck.

I swallowed hard, looking at him in fear "W-What are you doing?"

I can't see his face because the cap is blocking his eyes. I felt the blade is already near the skin of my neck. I closed my eyes, scared that I will die today.

Someone pulled him away from me. I slowly opened my eyes and I saw the man is already on the floor. I watched him as he slowly stood on his feet. His cap fell down and he slowly turned around, facing me. My eyes widened as I saw his eyes are glowing in red. What in heavens?

Before he could walked toward me and attack me again. He fell down on the hard ground again, this time he is dead. I looked at him for a while and then to the guy who's infront of me now. He is wearing a hoodie so I can't really see his eyes but I can see he has a flawless skin.

That guy, he stabbed the man on the back. Did he just saved me?

"Who are y-you?" I asked.

He did not say a word but he just looked around and started walking away going inside the dark alley.

"Wait! I haven't know your name!"

He turned around and this time I saw his eyes are glowing in blue.

What's up with people's eyes today?

Then he run away inside the alley. I quickly followed him but then he already disappeared. Where did he go? How come he disappered that fast. There's a freaking huge wall on the end of the alley.

I walked out of the alley but I did not see the bad guy. Where in heavens did he go now? Like a while ago he is laying on the floor, dead.

What's happening? Am I going crazy?

I still can't believe what just happened today. Am I dreaming or what?

I opened the door of Ryan's apartment. I saw him sitting on the couch "So how is it?" He asked.

"All done." I said and smiled.

"Good but that's not all Justin, there's still nine of them."

I nodded "Yeah…"

I stared down at the ring on my left hand. I can't believe I just killed a dark angel today but I'm happy I saved Mary's life so it's worth at all.

I swear this task is not easy at all but I can't just give up because this is what Father's order. This is the real history of being a guardian angel.

"Justin you need to go now. Mary is looking for you right now."

I nodded "Ok goodbye."

"Take care. See you tomorrow."

I leaved his apartment, quickly changed into my dog form and started running on the way to the house.

Justin?

I heard a voice.

Justin it's me.

I looked up at the sky "Father?"

Yes Justin. I want to congratulate you because you sucessfully saved Mary today.

I smiled "Thank you my God."

"Drew?"

I looked around and I saw Mary. I studied her for a while and her eyes are kinda puffy.

I barked and ran toward her "Hey there boy, let's go inside." She opened the door and we stepped inside. We went to the kitchen and she put all the bags on the counter "You won't believe what happened to me a while ago." She sighed.

Yeah, me too…
