•Chapter 3: Dark Angel

Is this really being in a human world?

And this is the feeling when you are starving you beg for food…

Human world is really different from my world.

While walking on the so called street, I looked around hoping I will find Ryan. I heard growling behind me a, turning around I saw this huge black dog infront of me and I noticed that his eyes are the same color of a blood.

He growled again and his sharp teeth is showing.

"No!"

Someone stepped infront of me, saying a foreign language that I don't quiet understand at all. The dog turned into a black bird and flew away.

Huh?

"Justin are you alright?" I looked up at the person.

"R-Ryan? What was that?" I asked.

"A dark angel."

"Dark Angel? How come they are here in the human world?" I asked confusingly.

"They are here since the time angels went here in the human world."

"I did not know about that…"

"Because you are just new. How come you are here alone? And why did you leave the girl alone?"

"I'm looking for you."

"Oh. Well ok I need you to follow me."

"Where?"

"Father[God] told me to explain everything to you, about the dark angels and your assignment."

I followed him and we stopped infront of this unfamiliar house. I watched him as he opened the door and he stepped inside.

"Come in." he said and I stepped inside.

"What place is this?"

"This is my apartment."

I just nodded.

Ryan sat on the small couch and he tapped the space beside. I jumped beside him and sat down.

"So let me start, I want you to know what is your real mission here on earth. First of all you need to take care of this girl but this is not easy at all it's that you'll just watch her.  You should to protect her from those dark angels. Father gave you this task because he knew that you are a very responsible angel or because he sense that you are ready for the next level. He gave each angels a task by being a guardian angel whenever he knew that they are all ready." He paused "So your dad was been chosen too before."

"What? I don't have any idea about this. These is all so confusing…"

"I know for a starter like you it's really confusing. You thought angels responsibility is just bringing people's soul in heaven? Well you're wrong we have bigger responsibilities than that, we save humans too. Saving a human is very risky. God gave us each human being who will we protect. Now do you understand now?"

I nodded.

"Second, I have to teach you how to turn into a human."

"What? I can do that? But I thought Father said this is my form?"

"Yeah that's your form whenever you are with the girl but not all the time. And third I need to teach you how to be in your angel form too because you need this everytime you see a dark angels to fight them."

"What? I have to fight them, like kill them?"

"Uh yeah…There's no turning back anymore Justin. I told you this is very risky not unless you killed all the dark angels who want to kill the girl. Oh I forgot....Each human being has a ten dark angels. Dark angels are angels that wants to see humans in death."

I swear these is all confusing.

"To kill a dark angel you have to stab this on there lower back." He showed me his necklace, it was a cross.

"What's that?"

"Look." He pulled the lower part. It's starting to glow and then it turned into a sharp object "This is the holy knife."

I stared down at the object in amused. I thought it was just an ordinary necklace.

"No human being can kill us but only angel can kill another angel, got that?"

I nodded "I swear I don't have any idea we have this kind of mission in our history."

He chuckled "Because only God can tell you about this. So tomorrow we will start to train your abilities."

I nodded "Ok…"

"So I think you have to go now because the girl is already looking for you."

"Yeah…And I'm already starving."

He chuckled "Well you are here in the human world and you will really experience that kind of thing."

I smiled at him "Thanks Ryan."

"Welcome, take care."

I barked "I will."

I lazily opened the front door. Gosh I'm so tired.

I looked around and Drew is not around "Drew?"

I heard a barked around so I turned around and then Drew stepped inside, running toward me. I smiled.

"Hey there buddy, where have you been?" I said, scratching his ear.

He gave me a bark, waggling his tail.

"Hungry?" He nodded and barked again.

I giggled "You are so adorable. Come here." I said motioning him to follow me through the kitchen.

I guess I'm not alone anymore…
