Chapter 14: Stranger

You wandered endlessly for hours through the beautiful city sparkling with night lights. You didn't have a plan. You had wanted to avoid Hoseok for as long as you can in order to cool off. As you were about to enter a store to browse your phone rang. It was Hoseok, again. He had called numerous time throughout the day, but you never picked up. You were fed up with everything because of him. Why was he being like this? Hoseok had turned from a sweet charming boy into an obsessive boyfriend. It's as if he were two entirely different people. Once again, you denied the phone call. Instead of entering the store you decided to just head home and set everything straight with Hoseok. You weren't going to stay with him if he continued his behavior.

You admired the scenery as you strolled. It was unbelievably nice at this time of the year. A refreshing summer breeze swept through the air cooling you from the continuous heat wave. Soon, you found an alleyway and you recognized it as a shortcut to the house. Nice, I'll just cut through here.

You turned into the alley and somewhat regretted the decision. It was dark; however, the lingering city lights was enough for you to continue. You were halfway through the route when you noticed a slim, male figure was approaching you. From what you could see, he was wearing a simple black hoodie accompanied with jeans. Who is that? The figure began to pick up his pace toward you and before you knew it the dim lights exposed his identity. No... No... He can't... I don't.. You spun around from your place on the pavement and inhaled deeply to calm your nerves. After a few seconds, you prepared to run out of the alley.
