"Hey! watch where you're going!" A voice warned angrily.

Upon realizing a man was walking down a crosswalk, you immediately stepped on the brakes of your car. It screeched to a stop. Sighing, you kept telling yourself to focus on the road. You didn't want to end up in an accident.

You had decided that clearing your thoughts was the best option at the moment. You drove to a familiar bar that was near your office. You and your co-workers would go there often to chat. The bar was usually packed with people drinking away, but tonight it was as silent as ever.

The bitter night bit at your skin as you stepped out your car and made your way into the small building flashing with neon lights. As you entered the bar the sweet aroma of alcohol had hit you. You walked to the counter and sat in front of the bartender. All the times you had spent here with friends made you nostalgic.

"Whiskey, straight, please," you ordered.

The bartender was polishing a glass as he raised his eyebrows. "Tough night?"

"Couldn't get any worse," you responded.

He nodded, indicating that he knew what you were talking about.

Soon, your drink arrived and without hesitation you gulped down the whole shot at once. The smoky flavor seared in your throat, but you relished it. You closed your eyes and hoped to forget everything that had happened. You wanted to let alcohol take control of the night.

A few minutes passed, and you were already on your fourth shot. You laughed, that wasn't enough to make you drunk. You were still sober enough to think straight. Your thoughts began to trail off, and you reminisced the day Yoongi confessed to you.
