Help (Chapter 1)

A/N: Hey Guys! How are you? Hope you enjoy my second Lauren/You story and be prepared, it's a supernatural one with Lamp. Btw, I have no problem with Brad or the Vamps it's just that they make great characters for the story! Anyway, let's get into the chapter! Enjoy!

Lauren P.O.V
I've heard stories about the people with fur. Savages. They were labelled as savages, criminals, monsters.

That was according to my father. King and ruler of the world of supernaturals. Including the people of fur we rather not mention.

After that war between humans and them, us vampires were left to pick up the pieces. My father already being the ruler of vampires, it was the other supernatural beings to give the throne to him. He deserved it after years of picking up the tiny pieces and tried to put them back together. He deserved every bit of it.

A knock was heard from the dark oak doors that separated the halls from my bed room.

"Come in." Once those words left my mouth, Kendrick, one of our servants opened the door.

"Your father requests for your presence in his study Miss. Jauregui." A slight groan left my mouth.

"How many times do I have to say Kendrick? Call me Lauren. You know how I feels when you call me Miss. It makes me feel old."

"Of Course Mi- I mean, Lauren." I chuckled slightly at his slip up. Once he recovered, he left, closing the door behind him.

What could my father want this time?

I dragged myself out from my bed and walked aimlessly through the halls before ending up at the familiar big dark oak doors. My knuckles touched the cold surface as I knocked firmly. It wasn't too long before there was a deep voice echo 'come in.'

As I stepped into the room, I looked up to see my father smiling humbly at me but what caused the nerves to coarse through my veins was because he wasn't alone.

"My daughter. I want you to meet Brad. He is apart of the Vamps clan." I glanced to the dark haired boy and I couldn't help but grimace. His brown eyes shamelessly looked me up and down with a lustful look.

I think I might be sick.

The only person who can look at me like that is my mate. Well, that is if I ever find them.

"The reason why I called you here was to announce that you will be marrying this man." My stomach seemed to twist and turn as those words left his mouth. He can't be serious.

"You can't be serious." My voice cracked by the swirl of emotions I was currently feeling.

Apparently my father was drop dead serious by the look in his eyes. I couldn't help the huff of disbelief that left my lips.

"I won't marry this man. He's not my mate. I'm sorry." Quickly, I ran out of my father's study.

My legs seemed to take me outside as there were echoes of the voices of my mother and father as I ran, not really knowing where I was going.

Trees flashed passed me as I ran for what seemed like a good 10 minuets. My legs came to a sudden stop as I realised that I had no idea where I was and probably too far deep in the forest to find my way back.

I backed up against a tree as I slowly started to slide down to the ground as the tears slid down my face, unable to find a stop to the waterfall on my face.

How could he do this to me? I will never agreed to this!

Snap!

The sound echoed through the forest, making me snap my neck up. I swore I got whiplash from the action.

My eyes darted through the green abyss trying to find the source of the noise.

A growl. A black wolf emerged through the trees and bushes. My eyes widened as I tried to push myself further into the bark, praying that I would just disappear into the tree.

It's teeth were sharp and gleaming as saliva dropped down from it's mouth.

This is the end. If anybody hears my prayers, help...

As the wolf was about to leap towards me, another wolf jumped from the side. It's (Y/H/C) fur seemed to whizz passed like a fly. Fast and light.

Growls and barks were being exchanged between the two. The black furred wolf seemed smaller than the other one. A lot smaller.

After what seemed like hours of nail biting fighting, the black wolf laid on it's back submitting to the (Y/H/C) wolf. The black wolf whimpered as it ran off back into the green abyss.

Then (Y/E/C) eyes connected with my own and it seemed like the world had stopped. They were beautiful.

The wolf took steady steps towards me. Before they were in front of me. They were laying on their stomach. They were submitting to me.

A slight giggle escaped my mouth at the action, which caused the wolf to wag it's tail, giving me the sense that they were happy.

"Thank you." My hand met it's head as I stroked it's fur. A purr erupted from their chest as they leaned into my touch. I couldn't help but notice the slight sparks.

Wait, sparks?

This wasn't any normal wolf.

"Wait, are you a person?" I pulled my hand rapidly and started to panic. They seemed to whimper slightly at the lose of my touch but soon enough they weren't a wolf anymore.

Before me knelt a muscular (Y/H/C) haired girl with the brightest (Y/E/C) eyes I've ever seen. She was beautiful. Her clothing were torn and dirty but I couldn't care less.

A person of fur was standing in front of me and I won't be surprised if I was shitting myself. I was petrified.

"Y-You're a-a..." My words trailed off into the forest. The girl didn't move. Her eyes were focused on my every move. Examining me.

"A Werewolf? Yes." Her foreign voice echoed through my ears. It was deep and husky in which made my heart beat rapidly. Her accent was the cherry on the top. Spanish.

I was still terrified of her as I tried to back away from her as far as possible. If I was correct, she let a whimper of hurt by the action.

With every shuffle back, she took a shuffle forward. Eventually she placed her hands on either side of the tree, trapping me between the tree and her muscular chest. I gulped audibly.

"There is nothing to worry about mi amore. I won't hurt you. Promise." She sounded sincere as she laid her forehead against my own.

My prayers were answered and I was given help.
