A/N: thank you so much for reading, ily :)
———Sometimes, I don't regret being the old Paulina Suarez; the one that once held the title of being one of the most popular girls in school, the one who got invited to the hottest parties and the same one who had almost every guy wrapped around her middle finger.
Also known as the same one who could ignore the heck out of a boy when he was getting too clingy and comfortable.
I stare at my phone with slight melancholy as I think of the best way to let Damon down easy. My phone had stopped buzzing with texts from him once it became apparent that I just wasn't responding because I didn't want to. That was about an hour ago or so.
I feel awful about it but it really is the best thing to do.
For one; I can't let him down harshly like I normally do to other guys. I almost broke his sister's nose! And he's the one making my Iftar, I can't afford to make him angry by being a complete female dog.Because what if he poisons me? Or stops making me food?! Or gives the job to Kenneth?! Or worse—Venus?
I groan and sigh as I bang my head against my pillow.
Hot boys suck. They have way too many issues attached.
"Paulina? There's someone at the door for you," Georgia says. She's standing in pajamas and holding her laptop. I can tell that she's watching yet another movie.
My heart plummets at her words though. The only people I actually talk to are people that I really don't want to talk to at the moment.
In other words, two baker boys who work across the street and Vanessa who really doesn't have any business with the door and posing as a visitor.
