"Maya, you really going to have dinner with him?" Riley asked again after we finished the homework.
"Yeah. He just texted me. He'll be here soon."
"Why are you even talking to him?" Lucas asked. He looked.. angry? I don't know.
"Why is it a big deal that I'm having dinner with him? He' a nice guy."
"He's a senior, Maya." Riley looked worried.
"I know. So? I liked your uncle and he's 3 years older than me. Maybe I have a thing for an older guy." I shrugged.
"And they're all hot." Smackle smiled at me. And Farkle glared at her.
"Who's hot?" Thor suddenly appeared behind me.
"You." Smackle smiled at him.
"Oh, thanks. You ready?" Thor tapped my shoulder.
"Let's go." I stand. "Uh.. where are we going?"
"It's a surprise. Where's your mom?"
"Over there, by the counter. Why?" Thor walked over to my mom without answering my question.
"Hello, Maya's mom?" Thor greeted my mom.
"Yes. Who are you?"
"I'm Jason. But everyone call me Thor. Maya and I goes to the same school."
"Oh, Maya. I don't know there's a lot of cute guys at your school." My mom smirked at me. I just smiled awkwardly. "Well you can call me Katy."
"He's a senior!" Riley screamed informing my mom.
"Riles!" I hushed her. Gosh.
"Maya, you're hanging out with seniors?" My mom looked over at me and smiled. "Cool."
"Anyway, I want to take Maya out for dinner. It won't be long. I'll have her back before 10."
"Wow, you're cute and a gentleman. Well if Maya's okay with it then it's okay with me." My mom looked at me asking telepathically if it's okay.
"I kinda already said yes. So... " I walked over to my mom and Thor.
"Okay then, baby girl." My mom hugged me and I hug back.
"Thank you." Thor smiled at my mom then smiled at me. "Come on." And I followed him to his car after saying goodbye to Riley.
