"Look who we have here," a tall man with a shaggy beard, thick German accent and black clothing smirked at you, the little red octopus pin on his jacket shining in the dim light, "Miss (Y/N) (Y/L/N)."

"I hate you," you hissed as the man handcuffed you and led you into a large building, "Where the hell are you taking me?"

"Girls aren't supposed to be soldiers. You need to be punished."

"All I want is to protect my country! Is that too much to ask?"

"I want the same thing, but people like you are making that difficult."

"You're a nazi. The only thing you want to protect is yourself," upon finishing your sentence, the man was met by another. Watching as the keys jingled in the cell door, you knew what was happening.

"Have fun in here," the man mused, looking around at the jail cells beside yours before his eyes landed back on yours, "You're going to wish you never stepped out of the kitchen."

"You're going to wish you never met me," you hissed at his sexist comment, sounding a lot more threatening than you usually did. You could feel a few tears welling up in your eyes, but there was no way you were going to let them slide down your cheeks. You were here because you were doing what you knew was right, even though the law didn't agree.

"Hi there," an unfamiliar male voice spoke from one of the cells beside yours, "You all right?"

"Oh," you smiled, "I was just admiring the nice change of scenery."

"It's a prison cell," the man said bluntly, raising his eyebrow.

"I was being sarcastic."

The man let out a small chuckle, "The people 'round here call me Dum Dum."

"(Y/N)," you smiled.

"May I ask why you're wearing an army uniform, miss?"

"Is it that wrong to want to help protect your country?"

"No, I just wondered how a dame like you was allowed to be admitted to the army."

"Well, I didn't exactly look like this when I signed up. Well, I did the first time, but then I realised that wasn't going to work. I dressed like a man, threw on a wig and apparently I looked just like one."

"Wow," Dum Dum said, his eyes widening, "Don't you got a family back home wondering where the hell you are?"

"No," your voice broke slightly, "No one's missing me."

"What happened?" He asked.

"I'd rather not-" Before you could finish, another man, younger than Dum Dum, walked up beside him.

"You don't have to explain," the man said, looking in your direction. The thing that caught your attention most about him was his eyes. Despite the fact he'd been fighting in a violent war, they still looked innocent. He was a beautiful person to look at.
