"Just because you're fifteen minutes older than me doesn't mean you're faster!" You giggled, passing your brother Pietro as your parents and various other adults cheered you on. It was the day of the Athletics carnival at your school, and you'd waited all year just to beat Pietro. Your sister, Wanda was more of a creative person, and she was great at art. Her fingers seemed magical as they danced across paper, leaving a beautiful drawing when she was finished. You had always been fast, but Pietro was faster. This year, however, you had an inkling that that would change.

"(Y/N)!?" Pietro said with wide eyes, hardly believing what he was seeing. You, his younger sister, were beating him in a race.

Just before you were about to cross the finish line and claim first place in the nine years age division, Pietro sped up, passing you just in time.

"Well done!" Your mother smiled happily as she hugged the three of you. While she pinned Pietro's first place ribbon onto his shirt, she noticed the frown that had fallen over your adorable face.

"What's wrong darling?" She asked as you hugged her. You simply showed her the green ribbon with a number two on it, "Honey, it's ok. Just because you didn't beat him this time doesn't mean you won't do it one day. I bet next year is your year."

A smile lit up your little face. You believed every word.

Eighteen years later, you stood atop a tall building, looking around at the scenery. Ever since your parents died, this was the only place where you felt comfortable, and after hearing about your brother's death, you were up here practically all day. A single tear fell down your cheek as you remembered racing against your brother during your childhood. When those German scientists experimented on you and your siblings, you had obtained the same power as your brother. However, more of the strange serum had been infused into your body than in Pietro's, making your outcome better. You were finally faster than him.

Suddenly, a blue and red blur flew past you. Not stopping to think about what it could be, you followed it, and tried to beat it. No one was faster than the (Y/f/c) Flash. Running and jumping from rooftop to rooftop was difficult after staying inside for two weeks to mourn, so you were a little rusty. After getting the hang of it, you became more confident and started jumping further. You were nearing a gap that you usually wouldn't have been able to jump across, but seeing as you had nothing else to lose, you took the chance.

Leaping off the edge of the building, you soared through the air, but just as quickly, you realised you missed the other ledge and were falling. You let out a loud yelp before you felt an arm wrap around your torso. You opened your eyes to see that you were still in mid-air.

"What the?" You said, turning around to see who had saved you. You were then flying through the air in this person's arms before landing back on a ledge.

"Are you ok?" A voice behind the red mask asked.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine," you breathed a sigh of relief before brushing a stray piece of hair behind your ear, "You saved my life."

"Eh, it was nothing. Don't mention it."

"Thank you," you smiled thankfully.

"Spider-Man," he said, offering you his hand, "The Spider-Man."

"Never heard of you."

After muttering a seemingly incomprehensible reply, the masked boy turned to face you.

"What's your name?"

"I'm (Y/N) Maximoff. Most people know me as the (Y/f/c) Flash."

"Never heard of you," he chuckled, repeating your words.

"How about Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch? Heard of them?" You asked.

"The Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver!?"

"I'm going to take that as a yes."

"What about them?" He asked.

"I'm the youngest triplet. Well, not that there are three of us anymore."

"I'm so sorry. I heard about that. But oh my gosh! That's so cool! So, are you going to join the Avengers or something?" He was such a fangirl.

"Yeah, now that Pietro's gone, they need me."

Before you could think twice, the red and blue-suited boy embraced you in a hug. After that, the two of you spent the rest of the night talking about the most random things. However, soon it had to end. Spider-Man had a job to do.

"I guess this is goodbye," you said shyly, looking down at your feet, "Bye Spidey."

Jumping down carefully, you stopped to look back. The boy had followed you, and was hanging upside down from the roof from a web.

"It doesn't have to be goodbye," he said quietly, gesturing to his mask, "Take the mask off."

"What?" You couldn't believe that he was going to reveal his identity to you. You did as you were told but before you could remove the whole thing, he reached out for your hand, making it stop at his nose.

You didn't know what was going on, and your eyebrow raised.

"Don't leave me hanging," he laughed half-heartedly, gesturing for you to come closer. When you were practically nose to nose with him, he pressed his lips to yours in a sweet kiss. You quickly melted into the kiss, and smiled. You were the first to pull away.

When you opened your eyes, he was gone. You realised there was a piece of paper in your pocket. Spider-Man must've left it when you were up on the building. You opened the paper and saw that there was a phone number written on the page, with the name "Peter" written above it.

Smiling, you realised that he did actually reveal his identity to you, just not the way you'd thought, and not completely. Yet. You were definitely going to call this number tomorrow. You weren't ready to give him up just yet.
