Rosa's POV

I sat down for what seemed like five minutes. It was so boring in here. But I heard voices and perked up. I listened through the door.
"Calls herself Amber... Can't wait to see her reaction... You may go in." I ran to the seat and stood by it. Then my adopters came in. Wait... I know them!
"PONY SODA DARRY!" I ran up and boy I bet they ain't ever had such a hug. I was sooo happy!
"We missed you baby." I had an unremovable smile. Except something in me worried about dreams. But you shoulda seen Pony's face! He obviously didn't know either. We both stared at each other. Then I said,"Sooo, how's it been at home?"
"Fine. A couple things happened but that for later." I noticed Darry staring at my cheek.
"So um Darry, thanks for getting me back."
"No problem kiddo. We wouldn't have forgotten." Then Carrisa ran up.
"Hey Amber, who are they?"
"Darry and Soda and Ponygirl."
"Hey!" Soda about perished laughing.
"Hi. She's talked about you all a ton."
"Aw. I feel loved." Soda said.
"Good cause you are."
"Who are you?"
"Carrisa W."
"What does W stand for?"
"Something." I didn't even know. Let's just say there are secrets here.
"What something?"
"Just something, okay!" Soda stared.
"So guys, I am starved. Can we head home?" Darry nodded. They left and I waited a second.
"So, what is your real name?"
"Tell me your last name. And you get my first." She groaned.
"Winston. Carrisa Winston."
"Rosalyne. Rosalyne Curtis."
"Tell no one what my last name is."
"Not even Dal himself?" Dal was trouble. Mom kept him out of it.
"You can tell him?"
"Yeah. He is good friends with us."
"Do not tell my brother about me. Understood?" Brother?!?!
"Kay. Tell anyone you feel what my real name is."
"Rosalyne is tuff. Remember that okay?" I nodded. Darry came back in. He waved toward me.
"Bye, Winston."
"Bye, Rosalyne." And I left.
