A Broken Fairytale

Part 8

  I could't sleep that night. My mind was circling about the conversation me and penny had. I don't remember when sleep hit me. When I woke up in the morning my head was throbbing. But I decided to ignore it and I called Michael right away.

         " Umm Michael? It's me, Mia.. Uhh I wanted penny's number."I said nervously on the phone.

        " Mia?? Are you okay?? What happened yesterday? I tried calling you but your phone was switched off. "He asked with a worried voice.

     " Yeah.. Umm I'm fine .. I was just having a bad headache so I switched off my phone and went to sleep.sorry I got you all worried.Michael... I need penny's number.. It's kinda urgent..." I said.

 " ohh umm yeah..ill message you her number.. " he said

 " Yeah.. Thanks.. Bye Michael ... I'll take to you later.."I said

    " okay Mia.. Take care.." Michael said

Beep.. I checked my messages . I hit to call option on my screen.

After a few rings penny finally picked up the call.

" Hello?? Who is this??" She said irritated.

" Hey penny.. This is Mia.. Umm are you busy??" I asked

" Ohhh.. Mia?? Heyy.. Wassup?" She said in a friendly tone.

" I'm fine.. Umm penny.. I uhh wanted to talk to you about something.." I said getting nervous.

" What is it Mia? Are you okay?? Yestreday you left early... Did I hurt you??im sorry Mia.." She said 

"Ohh no penny you did not hurt me!!! I just had a headache so I left yesterday.. Nothing to worry..I uhh wanted to ask if you know why Alex umm did that to me?? " I said clutching the phone tightly.

" I uhh yeah I know.. But I don't think you would like it..." She said

" please penny.. This is important to me.. I need to know why he played with me... Was I like a one night stand for him?? I'm tired trying to figure out to reasons.. Please penny just tell me.. I don't think I can get any sadder than I am right now.."I said

"Okay.. But you won't sit alone in the room crying or any stupid thing after I tell you ..  Promise me you won't do anything stupid." She said 

" yeah I promise.. Penny" I said reassuring her.

"Okay.. Uhh Alex has a girlfriend . Her name is Diana. I think he just feels guilty now that he did that.. So he has stopped talking to you." She said 

I knew something like this was coming.. So I was ready .. 

" ohhh okay.. Thanks for telling me penny.. And don't worry I'm not sad. I'll talk to you later.. Bye.." I said 

Even though I was not sad .. I was angry on Alex.. Why did he even call me at his place if he knew he could lose control of himself..

I took the phone and started typing ....

    I regret everything.. Thanks   

I hit the send button. 

After sending this message to rider I blocked him on every social  account and on my phone too.

I was done with rider.
