Rickard's POV

"Here ya go," the bartender says as he hands me my drink over the counter.

I decided to hang out with some of my teammates tonight. I felt bad for leaving my girlfriend, Y/N, at home all alone, but she assured me that it's was fine. Maybe she called up one of her friends to hang out with.

I thank the bartender and go to find my friends. Once I find them, I see they're all on the dance floor and each of them have a girl they're dancing with. I decide to sit in a nearby booth and watch. After awhile I start to get bored, so I pull out my phone. As I'm scrolling through Instagram, I hear a girl's voice say, "hey."

I look up at her. She's pretty, but not as pretty as Y/N. "Hi," I reply.

"You look a little lonely. Mind if I sit here?" She asks, and before I can even answer, she sits across from me.

"Uh, no, not at all," I say, scratching the back of my head.

"So, are you here on your own?"

"No, I'm here with some of my friends. I went to get a drink and when I came back, I found them all dancing with girls on the dance floor."

The girl quickly stands up and says, "well, let's go dance with them."

Before I can reply, she grabs my hand and drags me out to the dance floor. She starts to dance on me, but I don't have the heart to tell her to get off of me. After awhile, I let loose and ease into it. "Rickard?" I hear an all too familiar voice say.

I turn around and see Y/N standing here. She has a mix between a sad and angry expression on her face. "Y/N, I can explain. I'm so sorry," I tell her.

"No, you're not," she snaps, walking away.

I go to chase after her, but I'm stopped by someone grabbing onto my wrist; it's the girl who was dancing with me. "It was nice meeting you. Can I get your number?" She asks.

"No," I answer.

She gives me a confused look, "why not?"

"Because, I have a girlfriend."

I shake my hand out of her hold and run after Y/N. I go outside of the club and look for her. I find her sitting on the sidewalk with her head in her knees. "Y/N, I'm so sorry," I say.

She looks up at me, tears streaming down her face. "Uh huh, sure you are," she scolds.

I sit down next to her, "please, just let me explain."

"I'm listening," she says.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what I was doing, but that girl just came up and started talking to me and then she just dragged me out on the dance floor. I don't even know who she is," I explain.

"But, you looked like you were enjoying yourself."

"Well, I wasn't."

"Then why didn't you push her off of you?!"

"Because I didn't have the heart to do that!"

Y/N starts to stand up, "well you should've told her you had a girlfriend."

"'Had'?" I stand up and gently grab her wrist before she walks away.

"I don't know if I can trust you anymore," she says, looking down at the ground.

I lift her chin up so she's looking at me, "baby, I love you and only you so much. That girl meant nothing to me. You're the only girl who means something to me. You're mine and I'm yours and there's no one who can change that."

Y/N looks into my eyes and says, "you really mean that?"

"Of course I do," I reply, wiping away a tear that fell down her cheek.

She smiles and my heart melts. I love her smile, it's so beautiful; she's so beautiful. I crash my lips onto hers, giving Y/N a passionate kiss.
