Normally when a story starts, everything is either perfect in a character's life or the character's life is normal. Well that's not the case for me.

You see, I'm not really living a normal life anymore. I'm in a relationship with Matt Williams, a wanted murderer. Not only that, I'm also in a house full of psychopaths like him. Other than Matt, I'm living with Oliver (who owns the house), Allen, Francois, Luciano and Flavio. We're all hiding from the police.

So how did I get here? A series of fortunate and unfortunate events eventually just got me here. And it all started last summer when I had to live with this random Canadian boy, Matt Williams, my unexpected and eventual boyfriend. Last summer was quite a ride.

Ever since I got in a relationship with Matt (which was like, a day ago), I started to consider the past summer as a crazy backstory of how I'm in my current situation. It's time for me to start a new chapter in my life as Matt's girlfriend.

Yes sir, this is a new story for me and it all starts right now. I'm bored out of my mind because Matt and the others are out of the house. They'll probably be fine going outside since they're very sneaky. They just left a few minutes ago and they left me with nothing to do.

So why don't I just explore this house even more? I'm sure Oliver won't mind me walking around the mansion. I am stuck in it, after all. I walked all the way to the lowest floor in the house.

"Matt in the Hat, McMattie..." I made nicknames that would annoy Matt. "I'm so great at these," I giggled to myself.

In the midst of laughing to myself, I noticed something in the corner of my eye, a strange door. The design was different from the other doors in the house. It looked old and shabby, and there were even some splinters sticking out of it. I don't think Oliver is the type of guy to keep part of his house untidy like this. He might be a psychopath but he's a fancy psycopath. What's with this room? It sparked my curiosity. "A quick peek won't hurt, right?" I opened the door. It was hard to push open, but it was surprisingly unlocked.

It was dark inside the room. Only a small amount of light came from a window covered with thick curtains. My eyes slowly started to adjust to the poor lighting and I was repulsed by what I saw. The room was filled with the most gruesome things: jars of organs, bottles of ugly looking liquids, and icky looking items. I sighed. What was I supposed to expect from someone like Oliver?

Almost immediately, something else caught my eye, a pentagram that was skillfully drawn on the middle of the floor. It interested me, and I couldn't help but come closer to it. I stepped in the middle of it and crouched down, admiring how well written it was. Then something unexpected happened: the pentagram started glowing. Not good at all. I wanted to move out of the pentagram but I was already beginning to disappear. My legs were like being eaten away by the shining light. "Help me!" I desperately started crying for help. I heard strange chanting from somewhere, but I didn't have time to bother with it. I was still struggling when I caught a glimpse of Matt at the doorway and then, I was completely gone.

A few seconds. That's all it took and I was gone.
