Chapter Four

(Y/N)s P.O.V.
Five Days Later

'The night was dark and misty as I walk down the narrow streets. Suddenly a rough hand clasped onto my shoulder and I was pulled into the shadows. Standing in front of me was a short, fat man with wild eyes, brown hair and major buckteeth. Standing beside him was a large black dog with black eyes that shone in the pale light.
He turned into a tall man with wild black hair and I instantly recognized him as Sirius Black, the mass murderer. He snarled at me and I tryed to get away but I was stuck to a wall.
"Hello my precious. The Lord will be please to know we've found a sacrafice. Such pure blood. A snake talker too. Even better." Sirius snarled even more and I whimpered.
"What do you want?" I tried to make my voice as brave as I could.
"To kill you of course. What else?" The short man laughed evily and I paled. Sirius turned into the black dog again. He bared his fangs and lunged."'

I scream and feel a cool hand stroking my forehead softly. When I open my eyes I saw Draco and Narcissa leaning over me. I sat up in bed and I realized I was sweating.
"Shhh. It's okay my darling." Narcissa pulled me into a hug and I shivered as the nightmare came back. There was just one problem. Whenever I have nightmares theres always truth in it and I knew what this one was telling me.
"Ho-Hogwarts isn't s-s-safe. He's coming for me." I whimper and I feel Draco place a hand on my arm.
"You safe now there's nothing to worry about." He said softly. I shook my head sadly.
"That's where your wrong." I pull away from Narcissa and climb out of bed. I walk towards the door but before I open it I turn back to the astounded Malfoys.
"Sirius Black will be at Hogwarts. He is going to hunt me down and kill me at any cost. For I am the one who stood in his way when he tried to kill Ice. Instead he killed my parents and now he's after me." With those words I turn and walk out the door and run towards the greenhouse, still in my nightie.

~Timeskip~

I lay on the cold floor of the greenhouse but the cold doesn't effect me. All the snakes in the greenhouse lay around me and the warmth from their scales comforts me. My head rests on the Black Mamba and Ice is curled up on my stomach with his head resting on my neck. I gently stroke his head and whisped quietly in snake.
"He'ssss back Icccce. He'll find a way into Hogwartssss. I can't leave you here. It'sss not ssssafe. Your only ssssafe with me. What are we going to do. Sssiriussss will find and kill usss."
Ice moves a little before hissing in reply.
"Remember (Y/N) you are the Princessssss of Sssnakesss. You will alwayssss find help. No matter where you are. Ssnakessss will come to you if you call for them. Sssiriussss won't sssstand a chancccce I promisssse." Ice flickers his tounge and I know he's right.
"(Y/N)?" I stiffen and gently sit up. The snakes that surrounded me hissed but I held up my hand to signal it's okay.
"Yes Draco?" I turn to see he's in a black dressing gown.
He stepped into the light of the greenhouse and his grey eyes sparkled. His platinum blonde hair was messy and shone in the early morning light. In his hands were a couple of glasses.
"I thought you'd like a warm drink. It's extra chocolatey hot chocolate. Just how you like it." I smile greatfully at him and geastured for him to come over. The snakes moved out of the way as he hesitantly walked over and sat opposite me. He handed me the cup and I took a sip. He was right it was just how I liked it.
"Thank you."I whisper.
"I was wondering..." Draco said slowly and I watched him carefully.
"Why did he want to kill Ice? Why did you stop him? And who the hell are you? I've been meaning to ask ever since you said you put that massive snake in the Chamber of Secrets when you were younger." His voice was seriouse and his face was as like stone as he took a sip of his drink.
"I am (Y/N) (L/N) the Snake...Talker. Sirius wanted to kill Ice because he's the decendant to You-Know-Who. I stopped him because Ice was my best friend. He got cursed into a snake and I've looked after him ever since then. Sirius is trying to kill me because I stopped him from killing the...last heir to Slytherin." The last words came out slowly as I tried to find a believable lie.
"Now that he's a snake I got given the title until...if the curse gets undone or broken." I sigh.
Draco stares at me in shock. "Oh. My. God." I here a snake hiss from next to me and I glare at it.
"Don't tell anyone or I'll kill you...Well the snakes will but I'll send them to kill you. Okay." I give him a sweet smile before gulping down the rest of the hot chocolate. I lick my lips and look at Draco who's now very interested in his drink.
"Sorry Draco. I just don't want anyone to know. Just incase Sirius finds out. Then he'll want to kill me even more." Draco nods and gets to his feet.
"Now that your up you may as well get breakfast." He extends his hand and I take it. He pulls me to my feet and I say goodbye to the snakes before following Draco inside the Manor for breakfast.

~Timeskip~
(September 1st)

Dracos P.O.V.

I lead (Y/N) towards the Platforms 9 and 10. "Okay let's go." I walk through the wall with (Y/N), mother and father close behind.
(Y/N) walks up next to me and takes my hand. I can feel her trembling. She's wearing black skinny jeans and a green, snake shirt under a black leather jacket. Ice is wrapped around her neck like a beautiful scarf.
Dobby puts our stuff on the train and I say goodbye to my parents before gently tugging (Y/N) towards the Hogwarts Express.

I took her to the Slytherin carraige and pulled her into my usual compartment. I pulled her into the seat next to me and she yawned before laying her head on my shoulder. My arm wraps around her and she snuggles closer.
"Your surpriseingly warm for a coldblooded reptile." I tease quietly. She jabbed my side but a smile was on her face.
Three boys appeared in the compartment door and looked suspiciously at the girl at my side.
"Hey. Come in for gods sake." The boys shuffled in and sat opposite us.
"Well Crabbe, Goyle, Zabini. This is (Y/N) she's staying with my family at Malfoy Manour due to...problems." I feel (Y/N) begin to heat up and her eyes were narrowed. A small hiss leaves her lips as she watches Blaise (Zabini).
"(Y/N) this is Crabbe, Goyle and B..." She cut me off.
"Blaise Melven Zabini. I know who he is. Now for the other two...It's nice to meet you." She scowls at Blaise and he returns it.
The train starts moving and (Y/N) curls into my shoulder and closes her eyes.
