"Nat! Honey where have you been? We've been worried." Mrs. Nova said over the computer

"I know, i haven't been able to Call you, it's been very hectic. Interesting and hectic." She replied

"How's school? Did you make new friends? Are you eating?" Mrs. Nova asked

"It is very different from Westwood. I have made friends, and they are great. And yes I'm eating, very well they have great food here." She replied with a smile.

She was happy that she had someone worrying about her well being.

"Amanda!" She remembered about the little 10 year old the Nova's said they were going to adopt " Have you adopted her yet?" She continued

"We signed the final papers today, so she is officially our daughter. Do you want to talk to her?" Mrs. Nova asked

"Sure," she replied

"David, go get Amanda so she can talk to Nat." Mrs. Nova told her husband

Mr. Nova got up and went to get Amanda

"What about me?" Natalia asked Mrs. Nova with hope "what about my adoption papers?"

"We've been talking to the social worker and she has been telling us that your case is more complicated since your father is still alive,"

"But he signed the paper releasing his rights as my father. Wouldn't it be easier, since he signed it?" Natalia interupted Rachel

"It would be easier but he didn't signed it. They said he did but he returned the application empty. So the social worker is trying to get him to sign the paper so we can adopt you as soon as possible." Mrs. Nova said

"Yup, sounds like him. One minute he's doing something good the next he becomes an ass hole." Natalia replied sadly

"David is doing everything he can to push the social worker to get your father to sign the papers. So don't worry honey we won't change our minds, your an amazing young lady and we would love to have you as a daughter." She said trying to cheer up Natalia. "Look Amanda is coming"

Mrs. Nova stood up and a little girl with brown hair and hazel eyes sat down in front of the computer staring at Natalia.

"Hi, I'm Amanda, you must be Natalia." She waved cheerfully

"Hello, and yes I'm Natalia." She replied

"Wow, your even prettier than they described." Amanda busted out

Natalia gave her a weird look and an awkward smile

"I'm Amanda, I'm 10 years old, I like drawing and chocolate. My favorite color is yellow and I like fashion. I like to talk, like alot." She said "what do you like?" She asked Natalia

Natalia was smiling at how innocent Amanda was. When Natalia was 10 she wasn't able to think about things she liked, she was only focused on pleasing her father and trying not to get in trouble.

"I'm Natalia, I like reading and I also like chocolate." She replied

"How old are you?" Amanda asked

"I'm 16."

"Why are far away? They told me that you were in a school far away and that you weren't able to come home until you finish school. Did you get in trouble?" Amanda asked

"No, i didn't get in trouble, I'm in a school far away beacuse they provide the things i need. I wish i was there to meet you in person but I can't I have to finish here and then I'll be able to visit you guys or maybe you'll be able to come and visit me." Natalia said
