What We Hide

First day part 4

Natalia went to her class. When she entered she expected to see a normal gym with basket ball hoops and bleachers on the side that slide open but to her surprise it was nothing like that. It was a big room with wooden floors but you couldn't really see them because it was covered with huge navy blue mats. the walls were white and the ceiling was high and made of glass. she stepped on one of the mats and it was soft like memory foam. She kept walking further in and saw Daniel and Howard, they didn't see her so she slowly walked up to them.

"BOO!!!" Natalia yelled scaring them both

"Red! What are you doing here?" Howard asked

"Well, that depends, what we do in this class." Natalia said

"In this class we will learn combat." a voice said from behind

She was tall and lean, she had brown hair in a bun and blue eyes, she was wearing the same thing as Natalia but hers was darker almost black.

"Natalia? I assume." she said as she walked closer to Natalia 'she does look like Natasha' she thought

Natalia nodded and have her a small smile

"Maria Hill" she introduced her self

"Natalia. but you already knew that." Natalia replied

"so what do you know about combat?" maria asked

"Not much, I just know not to get punched by letting your gaurd down." Natalia answered

Maria chuckled "Something like that"

"Sorry i'm late!!" Emily came running threw the doors with a piece of paper in her hand "my schedule changed and i went to a different class"

Emily ran to maria that was in font of Natalia. Emily winked. Natalia didn't know who she winked at, if it was at her or Daniel. Maria looked at the paper and she signed it and yelled

"EVERY ONE CHOOSE A PARTNER!" she didn't have to scream there were only two other students besides Natalia, Howard, Emily, and Daniel. So six in total.

Howard and Daniel paired up together and before Emily even looked at Natalia Maria told them to separate and she assigned their partners, she put Natalia and Howard together and Daniel and Emily together. They all went onto different mats but first they had to take off there shoes and just kept there socks on.

" Howard since you got the new girl teach her the warm ups." Maria said

"Glad I'm known as the 'new girl'" Natalia said sarcastically and they both laughed

"So what I'm I to do?" Natalia said

"You just have to practice your punches in these" Howard said picking up punching pads

"okay seems easy." Natalia said

Natalia started punching the pad for 5 minutes and then maria said to start combat training. Natalia looked around and saw the other two groups go at each other. They were punching, kicking and dodging. Even Emily had Daniel in head lock. Howard also looked around and he was worried that if he did punch Natalia he was going to hurt her. He had a troubled look and Natalia noticed

"What? Are you scared that the 'new girl' is going to beat you?" Natalia said as she held her balled fists up

"I'm not going to fight you," Howard said

" It's not fighting its 'training'" Natalia said as she got closer to Howard "are you scared that im going to leave you another black eye?"

"Howard what are you waiting for?!" Maria yelled from the other side of the room
