I sat on the chair as everyone had a good laugh.

"You okay?" Lydia whispered to me.

I frowned a little.

"I got a gut feeling about something, something bad" 

She frowned now.

"I thought I was the only one, but for now its your birthday"

I nodded.

"You right"

"Don't mean we can't stay alert"

I nodded again.

"Aye lemme holla at you" Kaiden said.

I frowned not really wanting to talk but seeing how content Ryan looked with Monroe I decided to follow him anyways.

"How you been?"

I frowned rubbing my arm.

"Okay, just wished things would have worked out differently, I wish my baby never got caught in that cross fire"

He nodded scratching the back of his neck.

"For real, but I'm glad your okay tho"

I smiled, feeling my cheeks get warm.

"Thank you Kaiden"

"Your welcome, I just wish everything would have worked out different, that we could just all start on a clean slate"

I looked over seeing Ryan kiss on Monroe's neck then chocked up.

"Wow" I mumbled shaking my head.

He turned round see what I saw.

"Don't worry about it, he don't know what he's missing out on, honestly I know I said we could start again when yall get back from your break but...do what you want, I want you to be happy with or without me"

"Kaiden, what are you saying?"

He sighed.

"I'm saying, I love you and the kids and just want yall all to be happy"

I smiled before hugging him.

"And we love you too"

He smiled before walking off to where Dre was.

"What happened?" Lydia asked.

"Just know we on the same page now"

"Ry stop it" Monroe giggled when I kept kissing her neck.

"My bad, you smell nice"

She shook her head.

"We at your baby mums house, you can't be kissing on me like that"

I kissed my teeth.

"She looked comfortable with Kaiden a minute go, I don't give a fuck"

"You talking out of hurt, you was gonna marry that girl" 

I scrunched my face up.

"What's your problem? All of a sudden caring?"

She kissed her teeth.

"Nothing" She said before pulling me into a kiss.

I smirked.

"That's more like it"

"Dad let me talk to you for a sec" Malachi said.

Monroe smiled at him and he just rolled his eyes before we walked away.
