I starred at Kaiden while he tried to break eye contact with me.

"I could have lost all of you that night" I said softly.

Finally Kaydee was home but Kaiden and Dre had to stay in for a week longer for more test.

He continued to look blankly into space.

"I don't know what I would have done if I lost you Kaiden, we a team now, we married again and you was just willing to go out and die" 

He continued to ignore me but I knew he was listening.

 "I love you Kaiden, I need you to get better so you can come home and we can become a family again propley, all the kids miss you fr its been lonely without you I miss you and before you say some slick shit about Ryan I haven't seen him but Kaydee say's he visited her everyday and they still meet up, please talk to me"

He slowly but surely looked over at me.

"I love you too" He mumbled.

I smiled placing my hand on his cheek and caressed it.

"I died" He said kissing my hand.

"What?" I asked looking at him funny.

"Dre will tell you, we saw Em"

"Baby Emerald died a long time ago"

"How you think I saw him?"

I sighed wanting to believe him but I couldn't.

"No baby, you just really ill right now, you need to stop getting shot"

"I want to find out who shot me, I feel as if I know them"

I sighed.

"I don't need yall getting hurt anymore"

"One more time"

I groaned. He was really loosing it.

"Kaiden, just work on getting out this place first"

He looked over at the twins in the push chair.

"Fine" He mumbled before looking into space again.

I leaned over pecking his lips before leaving.

"You okay?" Lydia asked.

I looked at her then sighed.

"He just needs to focus on getting out"

She shook her head.

"They said that Kaiden isn't progressing much either" She said rubbing her arm.

I could see it was hurting her, the father of her kids barely alive and for them not to be together or even talking.

"Things will get better" I said with the little hope in me.

She nodded and linked onto my arm as we pushed the twins out the hospital.

"You like a robot Dee?" Kacey said.

I laughed.

"Just like a robot Kac"

She smiled as I kissed her forehead. It would have been her hurt instead of me. I'm just happy to be back home.

"Kaydee when you get back home?" aj asked.

I looked at him then walked off looking for Kharim and Kameron.
