Connor stood behind the same counter he's been standing behind for hours now. He loves his job as a Starbucks barista, but the day was moving slowly and he just wasn't having it.

"Well, aren't you hot?" A blonde girl said from the other side of the counter. Her face was caked in makeup and Connor had to try and contain his frown because he hates when girls hide themselves behind makeup.

Ignoring her previous comment, Connor greeted, "hello, welcome to Starbucks! What can I get for you?"

"Actually..." The girl said leaning on the counter and fluttering her eyelashes. "I was wondering if you were on the menu?" She asked sending a flirtatious wink his way.

Connor had to try and hide his gag because her boobs were literally falling out of her shirt. "No, sorry I am not on the menu. Now would you please tell me what you want to order," Connor said a little agitated not wanting to put up with this right now.

The girl scoffed in disbelief that she was being turned down. "I'll have a caramel macchiato, please," she said bitterly while inspecting her nails.

Connor quickly made her drink so that she could be on her way as fast as possible. She snatched it and strutted away from the counter.

Connor waved to the next customer and came face to face with a gorgeous boy with the bluest eyes he's ever seen. "That was hard for me just to watch," the boy said rolling his eyes at the blond haired girl who was walking out of the shop.

Connor could already tell he likes this boy. "Yeah. You can only imagine the different kinds of people you meet with a job like this," Connor muttered.

"I could see why she'd go for you," Troye said truthfully. "You're cute."

"Thanks," Connor said bowing his head to hide his blush. "Anyways what can I get you?"

"I'll have a mocha frappuccino," the boy grinned at Connor.

"Name?" Connor asked smiling in reply. The boy was the only customer on line so technically a name wasn't necessary, but Connor wasn't missing an opportunity to learn the cute boys name.

"Troye," the boy smiled.

As Connor was making the drink, Troye decided to start conversation. "I'm guessing she wasn't your type," Troye asked referring to the blonde.

"Definitely not," Connor said very sure of his answer considering she wasn't even the right gender to be considered his type. "Plus I don't usually let strangers flirting affect me, especially from people like her," Connor said truthfully.

"Well how is it working for me?" Troye asked winking at Connor.

Connor bit his lip and smiled. "A lot better then it did for her."

Troye grinned as Connor placed his drink on the counter. Before he could take it Connor quickly grabbed it back and wrote something else on the cup.

"Have a nice day Troye," Connor said smiling wide at the boy.

As Troye was walking away from the counter he looked down at the cup to see Connor had written down his number with a little message.

"Text me later cutie?"
