Cancer

My, my lovely dear,

You have everything to fear!

You'll die in a just a year,

But don't you shed a tear.

The doctor's don't care,

Which I find unfair.

Soon, I'd walk out of there,

Hopefully alive, I do dare.

How young could I be,

When they finally see,

The cancer consumes me,

Where my heart holds it's key.

My heart will soon give away,

Maybe in another day.

But that's what they say.

Please, God, live, I may?

Suddenly, so softly into the night,

I put up an unsteady fight.

Death, now in my sight,

I welcome it with all my might.
