Hey all, ok so I know that most of this is in Kittys pov but that's because she has the most, connections, and I'm gonna try and bring Kyle into it more.

Kittys POV

" KYLE!" I roared as I burst into the guys dorm. " CHASE!"

" what?" they both replied exasperatedly.

" Katie, shes been injured, she was arguing with a..... a..... a pain wealder " I stuttered.

" wher is she." Kyle said simply.

" the infirmary." I replied tears threatening to burst though, and flow. I had to stay strong for Katie, for everyone. Kyle ran out of the door, and I staggered to Chase, he enveloped me in his arms as I sobbed into his shoulder, déjà vou much?

KATIES POV

Pain, that's all I felt, pain.

I mean maybe I shouldn't have shouted at her but she was saying that she thought, me, Kitts, Chase and Kyle were full of ourselves, that we thought we were better than anyone else, we don't think that, she's a pain wealder she can inflict excruciating pain on any other.

She may have messed me up but the nurse is still trying to untangle her from the vines.

" Kyle I'm fine honestly. " I said for the millionth time.

" I can tell you're lying Katie, I'm not thick." He replied squeezing my hand in both of his.

" well that could be debated." Smirked Kitty as she rushed through the doors.

" you know you love me really Kitts, and you may be in with a chance if I wasn't so in love with Katie."

" you wish." she said shortly before adding, " if you're looking for a fight, then bring it on." Kyle, being slightly scared of Kitty shrank back into his chair. I chuckled lightly then winced as the slight movement hurt my acing ribs.

KITTYS POV

Katie looked terribly pale, she winced when she laughed, she groaned when she moved, even when she was shot in the old west, she wasn't this bad. That pain in the ass that hurtnher is in for a rude awakening. I stormed out of Katies room, furious, I had to calm down or the school would be burned down.

I ran to the lake that is in the school grounds and jumped right in, I know I am a fire user but water has always been able to calm me down, like it calms raw flames. But the thing is Chase can calm me down too. I need him. I sent a signal. Scorch marks right to the canteen, where I knew he was, they led to where I was, he would follow them he would understand.

Sure enough he was there as quick as he could. He ripped off his shirt and dived in. " wow its really cold. " he said shaking, I wrapped my arms around him, instantly warming him up.

" what happened?" he asked concern flitting across his face.

" Katie, shes in a bad way, I had to come here, otherwise that pain chic would be burned to a crisp by now. " I snarled.

" you have every right to be angry, but Kitty your brothers are watching us, and I'm not wearing a shirt."

" oh crap" I said as we jumped apart and spun around only to be faced by my growling brothers. " Chase I'll go with them you go hang out with Kyle, he's never himself when Katies injured. "

" ok " he whispered.
