to my first love:
you have been there for me as long as I can remember
even before I formed strong memories
I know you like the back of my hand
and I know it will be like that for as long as I live
to my first love:
you taught me how to love passionately without regrets
you taught me how to learn and how to listen
you showed me beauty is found in the strangest places
to my first love:
there has never been a time where I haven't known you
you have been there for me everyday
I wish everybody understood what you mean to me
to my first love, music:
I wish everybody could hear you the way I do
I wish everybody would treasure you the way I do
you are not something that people can just throw away
you are forever, you are eternal
to my first love, music:
I know you will never leave.
