sometimes I swear to god the world is trying to kill me
sometimes I swear to god I'm trying to kill me
but right now
in this moment
I have come to the decision
that I can't die
I won't die
I won't let this world destroy me
because there are people that care about me
and it hurts me just to think about them at my funeral
I make jokes about dying
for the longest time they weren't jokes
they were just sayings
catch phrases
because I spent so long flirting with death
and I was ready to greet death like an old friend
but after four years of this
I am done.
I am going to live
and I am going to life for me, dammit
because this life is not controlled by those around me
it is not controlled by the world
it's my life
it's how I choose to live it
not anybody else
this is my life
I will not choose to kill it
this is my life
better start living in it
