7. The Motionless Fate

Our worst wounds,
we inflict upon ourselves.
Crying out in vain,
but no one knows how to reach you.

We're all the same kids,
fighting for what we believe in.
I've been through so much suffering,
my patience is running thin.

You were once my sanctuary,
and now you are my prison.
I'm laying face down on the pavement,
and I'm full of pain.

Life can turn you upside down.
You're hoping I fail,
but you're just pressing
your luck.

Your "love" is just your alibi.
Am I losing my mind?
Or I just can't
let go?

You can't kill,
what you did not create.
And nothing I could ever write,
would help you understand this life.
