Important A/N.

Hey guys.

So, yesterday I was contacted by the writer of the story Anarchy, if you're familiar with it. She informed me that people have been comparing Rupture to her story, telling her that they were too similar and that I was copying her. She was very understanding and open-minded about it, when I told her that I'd never do that. I understand where she's coming from, and I appreciate her addressing it, and discussing it with me.

I'm not one for plagiarism and if any of those people misinforming her, took the time to properly read my story and hers, instead of simply comparing general ideas, then they'll see how completely different our storylines are, and how un-alike our writing styles are.

Now, I've always been a fan of her work, and her story is older than my own, and much, much bigger, but I'm always careful to not even unintentionally copy any of the authors I love. I respect myself and my work and other people's work too much to do that. It'd be unfair to both her and myself. And it would just be wrong.

I take my writing very seriously because it's something I love. It's a release and a source of comfort for me. And I'd rather this story had 100 readers that enjoy it for what it is, and think it's original and new, than have 1 million readers that think I copy other people's work, because that's not what I do. Not at all.

I chose to share this with you in case any of you silently think the same of me or if my story. If at any point, I felt like I was robbing someone else's work, or that I'm too influenced by an author's work or style, then I'd just delete the whole story, and forget it ever happened. But this is my work. And her story is hers. Neither of us is copying the other. Or copying anyone else for that matter.

Sorry for taking so long of your time, but I needed to clarify this, because it really bothered me. If any of you has any questions concerning that, or if you have any doubts, or inquiries concerning the inspiration behind a character or their backstory, please let me know, and I'll clarify it. This story is all me, and for the exception of it being a harry story in an alternative world, Rupture and Anarchy aren't really similar at all. I hope you all can understand that and believe it.
