Spencer looks at him and cooks an eyebrow up but doesn't say anything.

Henry raises his glass up, "i'd like to propose a toast." Spencer lifts her glass up.

"In the sweetness of friendship, let their be laughter and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things, the heart finds its morning and is refreshed." he smiles clicking his glass against her.

"Wow, that was beautiful." Spencer smiles and he nods. "Kahlil Gibran"

They both take a sip of the champagne and let out a couple of orchestrated ohhs and ahhs.

"This is delicious." Spencer says as she takes another sip, making Henry nod in agreement.

"You know, the first time I had champagne I was six years old." she smiles thinking about how amused everyone gets every time this is mentioned and Henry was no exception.

"Really?" he asks raising his eyebrows. "Isn't that a tad bit young? No judgement or anything, just general curiosity."

"Oh no, yea. I was in my father's study, I was drinking caramel and vanilla shake and he was drinking juice which was meant for grown ups only. He was busy working and I was colouring or sketching or something. He left the room to get something and me being me, I convinced myself that if I had the grown up juice it'll make me grow up quick and it seemed like a pretty good idea back then. So, I climbed onto his chair, picked up his glass and gulped an unnaturally large amount of it, which obviously didn't work for me. But, I was determined and so I decided to take smaller sips like I saw my father taking. I finished the glassful and leaned back onto my father's chair waiting for him to return and when he came back, I said-" she laughs and covers her face with both her hands.

"Tell me!" he leans forward laughing.

She starts laughing even harder and holds her stomach, making Henry laugh in response. "Okay.. okay." she tries to control her laughter and starts taking deep breathes.

"I said, "Good evening, Nicholas. Please bring me and yourself another glass of grown up juice and then we can discuss business." she bursts out laughing as the last words escapes her mouth.

Henry joins in, picturing a petite, drunk Spencer on her father's enormous chair. "What did you father say?"

"He picked me and said, we're both in a lot of trouble Nikki." she says as she smiles fondly at her father's memory. "My mother was so furious, she got rid of all alcohol in the house."

"What about you? When did you start drinking?" she asks as she takes another sip of the champagne.

"Senior year in high school. I'm a little backward as compared to you." he teases her.

Spencer and Henry get completely engrossed in talking about their school and college lives, that they fail to notice that they weren't the only ones in the room, two waiters were serving them the appetisers.

"The food looks great, thank you." Henry smiles warmly at them.

"We will be serving the main course in about ten minutes. Would you both like more champagne?" Henry looks at Spencer who nods.

"Perhaps with the main course." she replies. The waiter nods and excuses himself.

"The food smells incredible." she says as she pops a amuse bouche in her mouth.

He smiles at her. "I'm really glad you like it so far."

"So far? There's more? Oh my God" she widens her eyes "are we going to the Jurassic Park after this?" she says animatedly.
