Happiness

I missed the sheer happiness
in the depths of my heart,
so much, it could not be contained,
so it came pouring out of me,
reflected deep in my eyes,
went down my cheeks glowing,
fell onto the grass below me,
and made it greener,
went up into the orchard trees,
and bore fruit on the dry branches,
it floated all the way up to the sky,
and made the clouds burn golden,
the blue sky seem brighter but softer,
and finally came back to me,
surrounding every part of me,
keeping my feet an inch above the ground.
