(A/N: the one titled 'morning' didn't make much sense after I read it again so I changed it. I like them both so I won't take them down haha)

She stood by the window,
watching the sun sink,
and the moon rise,
with inexplicable panic in her mind.

Tried hard as she could,
the sun wouldn't budge,
the clock wouldn't stop.
The sun left with all the light.

It sank slowly in the horizon,
with nothing to stop it,
it left till it was just a wisp of memories
that made that day.

The sun fully sunk,
The moon rose in the night,
soon it was time for bed,
and she had one less day to live.
