Lily Potter was a rebel. She shaved her head, pierced her tongue and smoked. All of this was to create a new name for herself, different to the legacy she'd been given. She swore at teachers, got a tattoo shaped like the Dark Mark on her back and joined a Muggle gang. By 22 the Muggle police had incarcerated her for the selling of illegal substances. They didn't confiscate her wand. She escaped, stealthily, in the middle of the night and fled to Europe. Whilst there she learnt about the fight between Grindlewald and Dumbledore. Desperate to fix her life, she joined the Belgian Aurors and worked steadily for many years as an expert crimefighter but eventually she discovered more and more about Grindlewald and Dumbledore and wrote the bestselling novel "Dumbledore and Devotion". As her parents discovered the book , they immediately travelled to Belgium to convince Lily to return home. On their journey, they rowed constantly and severed ties completely. Lily's second book was called "Harry the Hero?" and darkened the Potter name. Lily died happy surrounded by the legacy she left not by her father's.
