In the Gryffindor Common Room, there are 5 beds; Harry slept in the one by the window like his father because they both felt more free at Hogwarts than ever before, Sirius and Ron slept in the corner both feeling suppressed by their families, Peter and Neville slept close to the door and they both wondered if they were good enough at magic to attend Hogwarts, Frank (Longbottom) and Seamus slept by James and Harry respectively feeling drawn to confidence and fame and, finally, Dean and Remus slept by Seamus and Frank with the singed curtains because they chose their bed last.
