The Marauders once held a competition in their 3rd year to see who could come up with the most original puns; here are their scores:
1. James with 22 (it was his special talent)
2. Remus with 13 (his knowledge helped with out of the ordinary puns that were never used in ordinary conversations)
3. Peter with 9 (sometimes people forgot he could actually be quite funny)
4. Sirius with 1 (he maintained to his dying day that he actually won because he used a pun in every single conversation he had - the same pun. It would always be "Yes I am serious. Quite literally")
