James, Remus, Peter and Sirius met in the final train carriage on the Hogwarts Express, they sat in the final train carriage every year. In the fifth year Peter wrote 'The Marauders' onto the walls with a permanent spell. Remus turned a blind eye, despite having just been named Prefect. As the Marauders left Hogwarts in their final year, Sirius and James charmed Remus' badge to say Moony. Remus wore that badge underneath his robes as he travelled to Hogwarts without his best friends, in the final carriage of the Hogwarts Express.
