“Yeah, but that’s fifteen minutes away, I want food now and I’m in a mood for ramen… And look at that we just happen to be passing by Ichiraku Ramen…” I say pointing to the stand with a hopeful smile curving on my lips. But without even looking at me, she replies.
“No.” I clamped my mouth shut giving her a glare. Ugh, I hated her so much.
I turned my choleric filled eyes to Kyo. He seemed to get the message quickly and turned to Naomi. “C’mon, now, cut the kid a break. She’s h-hungry and the ramen shop is right there… Besides I’m feeling quite…p-peckish myself…” He reasoned. Aoi and Haru looked down at me then at the Ramen restaurant. They shrugged.
“Eh…why not? A quick stop won’t hurt anyone…” Haru said.
“You guys hungry…?”
Ren gave a shrug and Kai nodded.
“I’m famished…” Ken exaggerated. Naomi glanced at them then at me, I gave her a smug smile.
Naomi simply kept an expressionless face on as she narrowed her eyes at me slightly. “Very well then…” Was all she said as she turned and walked over the shop with us all in tow.
Giddiness filled in me as we walked into the ramen stand. I can now say that I, Mikaela Anne Bright, have walked to the Ichiraku Ramen Stand and ate some of Naruto’s favorite food. Miso Ramen. I can just taste paste noodles with a broth of vegetables and meat chunks. Yeah, that’s so good. Especially with—
“The sign says they’re off today…”
I gave Naomi look of disbelief. “You said what now?” I exclaimed as I snapped my head over to the sign on the curtains. ‘Closed’.
No…no…this can not be happening!? NOOO!
“You’re kidding right…?” She shook her head.
“No, you see the sign. So we should get going before it gets any darker…” She stated as she swiftly turned around and continued walking. I frowned as everyone else continued on after her. Ugh, it’s an official she’s on my top list.
“C’mon Mika…” Kai said tugging on my wrist. I looked down at it then at Kai. “Fine, I’m coming…” I said walking after. A couple minutes past as we walked past taller buildings, I looked up at them boredom, counting each one of them as we past. One particular building seemed to have two people sitting at the edge. One bigger while the other smaller. I tilted my head back to look at these two and squinted my eyes. Now, why would there be two idiots sitting up that high at this time of nigh—

My mouth hung open at this discovery, and suddenly before I knew it, lips were curving into the biggest grin I’ve ever worn on my face. “Mika…?” Kai asked giving me a raised eyebrow once he notice me stop walk. “C’mon… they’re leaving without…us… And what are smiling at…? -no way…” He seemed to have already realizing it as looked up spotting Mizuki and Naruto onto the roof of that building.
He turned his head back to mine. “Mika, you promised you wouldn’t sneak off on me… Now let’s go the others a pretty far away now…” Kai as tightening his grip on my hand. I looked down at it then looked at Kai. “Aw, c’mon it wouldn’t be sneaking off if you came with…” I said, a mischievous smile making way on my face. Kai shook his immediately.
“Nu-uh. No way. Let’s go before something bad happens and we get into trouble, we shouldn’t be messing with the plot line…” He said tugging me away. I pulled away. “No, nothing bad is going to happen. And we won’t be doing anything to mess with the plot of the story! We’re just going to watch from a far, no come on! Let’s go before they notice we’re gone…” With that I twisted him around and shoved him towards the building. “Wait—“
“Go!” I put both my hands on his back and pushed him.
“But, no, Mika we have—”
“No don’t want to hear it, Kai. Let’s go!”
