Chapter 13 ~ The Phone

Aphmau's P O V

It's after school. I'm waiting outside the building for Michi to come out to leave. Michi finally comes out of the building. And I immediately step in front of her.

"Michi! Give me back my phone!" I said.

"I would but I smashed it." Michi said.

I looked at her in horror.

"Why would you do that?" I said.

"That will teach you how to stay away from Aaron!" Michi said and then she ran down the stairs of Phoenix Drop High.

I ran after her. But the stairs were steep. I tripped and fell on my face. She got in her car and stuck her tongue out at me.

"You fell pretty hard are you alright." Someone said.

I look behind me to see Laurence.

"Yeah. I'm okay except that Michi girl smashed my phone!" I said.

"Woah, calm down beautiful." Laurence said.

I through a look at him.

"You know I'm dating someone." I said.

"Doesn't matter to me." Laurence said.

"Does anything matter to you?" I ask.

"Just your beautiful face." Laurence said.

"Please stop." I said.

I started to walk home. But Laurence followed me.

"Why are you following me?" I ask in anger.

"I live in this direction." He said.

"Aaron is going to kill you." I said.

"Aaron? Pfft. He doesn't deserve such a beautiful girl like you." Laurence said.

"Oh my God Laurence quit it!" I yelled.

I ran away hoping he wouldn't follow me. He didn't thankfully.

7 minutes later...

"Aphmau why didn't you answer your phone?" My mom asked.

"Somebody took it and smashed it." I said.

"If it was broken it wouldn't be available." My mom said.

"Oh my God Michi lied!" I say under my breath.

"Aphmau did you say something?" My mom said.

"Yes, mom can you drive me to Aaron's house?" I said.

Oh no I forgot. My mom doesn't know Aaron is my boyfriend. Shoot!

"Who is Aaron?" My mom asked.

I stood there in silence.

"Who is Aaron Aphmau?" She asked strongly this time.

"Aaron is my boyfriend." I said looking at the floor.

My mom was furious. But then she looked down at me.

"Aphmau why didn't you tell me?" She said calmly.

Am I in a dream? She isn't overreacting. I'm scared.

"Mom I didn't want you to overreact." I said still looking at the floor.

"Aphmau I will drive you there but next time don't keep a thing like that a secret." My mom said.

10 minutes later...

My mom dropped me off. I ring the doorbell. Aaron's mother answers.

"Hello. My name is Aphmau and I'm wondering if Aaron is home." I said.

"Indeed he is home. He is in his room talking with one of his friends." Aaron's mother said.

I go upstairs to Aaron's room.

"Aaron?" I say while knocking on the door.

He opens the door.

"Aphmau? I thought I was just talking to you." He said.

"That's what we need to talk about." I said.

He lets me inside the room.
