Shane's P.O.V
I stare in complete and utter shock as Nikki runs down the sidewalk. I snap out of it, and run after her. Nikki's only fast on her skateboard, I'm fast on my feet and my skateboard. I know I can catch up with her. I run after her. My sneakers slapping against the pavement. She runs into a crowd of people. I follow her, all the while shouting at people," sorry, excuse me! Look out!". They make angry sounds underneath their breaths and one man shouts," watch where your going you delinquent!". I ignore him and focus on Nikki. She looks back, she has this deer caught in the headlights look on her face. She runs faster. Her skateboard underneath her arm. I catch up to her and grab her backpack strap. She wiggles out of it and keeps on running, skateboard still tucked under her arm. I put on the backpack and run after her. She jayruns into a street, not even looking before she walks. Cars honk at her and drivers shout curse words at her. She makes it to the sidewalk and throws down her skateboard, she skates into a construction site. I run in after her.
