Stay awake at night

Reading my revision books

Yawning... just one more page

Then another, and another

Can't...can't get a C

Must get a good grade

I have to revise!

No more facebook

No more writing

Concentrate

Yes- concentrate.

I can't, I must

Stop all normal things

Lack of sleep

This stress is too much for me

Being forced

Being pressured

So I revise

I have to revise!

Growing weary!

Caffeine keeps me awake

I even stomach the taste of coke

Too too sweet

Doing this for my GCSE's

For I must pass

I have to revise!

Mother, father- please stop gloating

I'm not as smart as you think I am

Many are smarter

Too much pressure

I will get a C

I know I will

Exam day comes

Heart pounding

Eyes blinking

I'm sleepy

Tired

Scratch goes my pen upon the paper

Utter silence save for my heart beat

Results comes at last

Stomach flip flops

Mouth feels dry

Palms are clammy

I did... I did revise.

I can't get a C

Oh please no...

Look at the paper

My eyes swim

I blink, then blink once more

Holding my breath

I try to see what it says

Butterflies in my stomach

I read the paper

B

I got a B

Yes!

Not a C

But then I go home

It wasn't an A

My parents make me take the test again
