Suicide

You're at the end of your tether

Saying you want to end your life

Saying it’s all too much

Saying you want to go

Don't let go

Please hold on

It'll get better

Please see where I'm coming from

It may be hard

But I'll be there

Supporting you

You turn a blind eye

You turn a deaf ear

Your lips are numb

You won't acknowledge the truth

It may be a time in your life

When you're overcome with difficulty

But it'll pass

Time truly does heal all wounds

Don't commit suicide

Never end your life

Cos I'm there with open arms

Ready to help you

But you're there crying

But you're there cutting

One step... then another

Teetering at the end of the cliff

No! Stay with me.

Don't you dare jump.

Never let go- it's never too late

We'll stay together

In this cruel world

Side by side

Promise me you'll stay alive

Please- not suicide

And you stop.

My heartbeat echoes

You nod, tears falling down

And turn away from the cliff

I embrace you

And hand in hand

Tears falling down

We don't let go- we hold on

Making sure we'll live our lives to the full

Together... in this bleak, cold world.

Not suicide- we walk away... ready at last
