Friendship

Brings a smile to my face

Is a haven

A happy place.

I can be myself

And not be judged

Where happiness is everywhere

And nothing is smudged

You help heal me

Calm me down

We joke and grin

And I never frown

Those special secrets

That friends do share

The linking of hands

To show we care

And when the time comes

That sadness does stain

A friend comes

Soothing the pain

To all my friends

Wherever you are

Your gift is amazing
