April 6th

"Can we have Mr.Chandler Riggs up to the stand?"

My heart sunk. I wasn't sure why but it did.
The DHS guy stood there looking at him.
Chandler looked even worse than yesterday.

"I'm gonna ask you a few questions okay?" The man asked.
Chandler nodded.
"Why do you wanna be with her 'so' bad?" He asked pointing at me.
I sat up in the chair as Chandler looked at me with a smile.

He shook his head.
"Answer the question." The man said.
He sighed and looked from me to the man.
"She keeps me going." He simply said.
"Without her, I really wouldn't be here. I'm hardly surviving now without her and it's only been 2..3 days." He said.

"She's my everything, literally." He smiled.
I smiled.
"Why did you wanna end your life?" The man asked.
I tightened my grip knowing it was gonna hurt Chandler.
"It's okay." My lawyer looked at me as she smiled.
I sighed.

"I wasn't the perfect kid they wanted, I didn't make very good grades but I tried." He said.
"I sucked at being the perfect kid. So much pressure was on me all of the time since I'm an only child." He sighed.
"My Dad would always push my self esteem from here," he paused and put his hand in the air.

"To here." He said putting his hand low.
"So it constantly made me think of how worthless I am." Chandler said.
His eyes started to sparkle and I squeezed my hand.
"I meant to text one of my friends' new numbers and I typed in one different digit which lead me to her." He looked at me as a tear fell.

"She saved me. She always does. If she didn't exist I have no idea where I would be". He said.
I smiled.
"One more thing..." He paused.
Chandler took a deep breath.
"Did you tell your father you were leaving with a girl?" He asked.

"If I did, he would've killed us both and I couldn't risk it." He instantly said.
The man nodded then sat back down.
The judge stood up.
"Tomorrow is gonna be the final decision." She said.
She then left and everyone exited.

"I wanna talk to him." I said.
"You can't do that Samantha." My lawyer said.
"That hurt him up there, I gotta at least say something." I begged as we started to walk out.
"Go to the car." She said.
I sighed and went to the car angrily.

I missed Kate and Chris more than anything. I couldn't even see them.

All of a sudden the car door flew open. I jumped and looked to see who it was.
Chandler
"Oh my god." I cried and hugged him.
He cried and hugged me instantly.
I missed his touch.

The doors opened and the lady Chandler was with and my lawyer got in the car and drove off.
"We're gonna be together again." I smiled as I pulled away and looked at his eyes.
They looked swollen.
He shook his head.

"DHS are dumbasses Chandler." I said.
"But this whole entire thing going on, is so stupid. There not gonna let us." He said.
Then it hit me.
He has no hope. He's so broken and that's why. He thinks we're never gonna be together ever again which broke my heart.

The car came to a stop and both lady's got out.
"Look at me." I said.
He looked at me.
"Giving up is bullshit Chandler." I said.
"That's not how we roll, that's not how Samler rolls." I said.
He smiled.

"Everything will be okay. If we don't win this fight, then we're gonna run away together somewhere far away." I smiled.
He shook his head.
"Come here." He whispered and pulled me into his arms. I hugged him as tears started to fall.
"I'm sorry I messed up and didn't listen." I said.

He shook his head.
"It's not your fault, everything's okay with us." He smiled.
I smiled and nodded even though part of me didn't believe it.
