I DO notice that I've only been giving happy endings to my Zootopia series, and..
I decide to only make 6 stories, with the final one containing a death, or two. Or more. Perhaps even early deaths on the 5th book.
The final book would require the reader to make a 'choice', or a reader's more preferred ending scenario.
