I stir my noodles lost in thought."Lucy, what's wrong? I thought ramen was your favourite?" My Mother asks concerned.
I sigh in defeat.
"Mum, can I have some advice?" I ask.
"Of course." She replies.
"If you could save someone by putting yourself in danger would you do it?" I ask.
She nearly spits out her food.
"Well...I...umm...I guess I would..any decent person would, wouldn't they?" She finally answers smiling.
Her question repeats in my head.
'Any decent person would, wouldn't they?'
"Thanks Mum for the meal but I need to be somewhere." I say as I leave the table.
"Really? Where?" She asks.
"Just with some friends from school." I reply.
"Pfft. We both know you don't have any friends." She laughs.
Ouch. Thanks Mother.
"I'm going to get changed." I shout as I run up the stairs.
"Okay, honey!" She yells back.
I run into my room and hastily open my wardrobe.
Considering I don't go out that much because I spend my weekends and breaks on the Internet in my room I have little clothes.
I scratch my head out of annoyance.
What should I wear?
I decide to wear black leggings with a purple jumper.
I'll just go with the casual look, it fits me best anyway.
I grab my phone and run down the stairs.
"Bye, Mum!" I yell as I open the door.
"Bye-"
I shut the door and sprint down the road.
I'm sure that they will kill BamBam if I don't go to this stupid party.
I can't let them do that.
