Ruby's Point Of View

Standing in front of me was this amazing guy. He was extremely handsome, and had the greatest hair I've ever seen. He's a techy too?! Me likey! Anyway, focus. We had a nice long conversation, and he looked nervous the whole time. It was kind of hysterical, poor guy. He doesn't have to feel nervous around me. Heck, if anyone should feel nervous it should be me! A gorgeous man is standing about five feet in front of me, wearing this beautiful smile. He looks pretty beat up, I wonder what happened.

"If you don't mind me asking," I begin nervously after we crack up at a joke he just made. "What happened to you?"

He shifts his weight uncomfortably. "I made a stupid mistake. Not doin' it again." He chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Doing bullies work for them?" I reply without meaning to. He looks up at me in surprise.

"Yeah...how'd you know that?"

With a small chuckle, I look down. "Yeah. I've had my fair share of 'stupid mistakes'. I used the same excuse when my parents asked me what happened if I came home with a bloody face."

He sighs and nods. "It's just so frustrating. I don't know why I did that for the jerk if he was just gonna cave my face in anyway." He grumbles. I nod, then notice the dented lockers and chuckle.

"Wow...."

He looks around and laughs nervously. "Yeah.....I...uh.."

"It's ok. I used to go home and play video games, pretending the people I killed were the bullies. Sometimes I would play all night with this crazy look in my eye. Creepy right?" I giggle.

"Really?" He grins, looking like he feels a bit better.

"Yeah. My dad would slip pieces of chocolate under my door and run away yelling 'Satan had been fed!!'" I say before we both start laughing again.

Kaylee's Point Of View

Sighing heavily, I try to focus on my home work in my last class, but my sister's harsh words echo in my head. It hurts a lot....I don't know why I let what she says affect me still, she's the devil. I guess it's because she's my own sister and she still doesn't accept me. She cares more about being popular and accepted then dealing with a 'dorky nerd' like me.

But hey, today hasn't actually been that bad. I met a gorgeous man, well, more like ran in to Prince Charming. Hopefully I wasn't the only one who felt something when we stood there staring at each other.

I've never seen anyone look at me like that before, and I'm not sure what to think. What was going in his mind?
